  I had a very disappointing experience at the front desk. The receptionist was rude and unprofessional, which made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, especially as I am traveling alone. I expected a higher standard of customer service from a hotel like this. I hope management addresses this issue to ensure other guests are treated with respect.

  Place is terrible, the lady at the front desk was very rude and disrespectful and threatened to kick me out I had asked for a noon check out when I booked the room at the front desk, then housekeeping knocks on my door at 11 AM I told the housekeeping that I had the room until noon then the front desk calls me and claims that I don’t So we went back-and-forth on the phone and then she said, I have to leave in 10 minutes. This place is located literally right next to the freeway and it’s very loud

  Check-in process was smooth and the front desk was friendly. Room was very clean with a good tv, fridge, large vanity and private bath. Good desk space as well. Bed was very soft and that’s the only complaint I have. The continental breakfast was actually very impressive for a hotel of this level. Good coffee and a wide variety of food included. Pretty good location although there is not much within a safe walking distance.

  Stayed here Tuesday through Friday. Checkout was 11:00 AM. I got a knock at 11:00 and let the staff member know I needed a little time to finish packing. At 12:05 PM she knocked again and told me through the door that I had five minutes or she was calling the police. I told her I needed roughly 30 minutes to finish packing after a multi-night stay. About 15 minutes later, Renton PD was at my door informing me I was being trespassed. One hour and five minutes past checkout. No warning call, no late-checkout fee offered, no attempt to resolve it at the front desk — straight to police over a paying guest who was actively packing. I’ve checked out later than this at hotels across the country and been met with a phone call and a small charge, which is the industry norm. I can’t say what motivated the decision to escalate this way, but I’ll say plainly that it did not feel like the way a guest who looked different would have been treated, and I’d encourage other Black travelers to consider that before booking here. Management should be training front desk staff on de-escalation and on what a late checkout actually costs a hotel — which is far less than this.
