Its everything you should expect clean comfortable easy to find. Its not extravagant but also it doesn't need to be. It was perfect for my family to stay and go to the tacoma dome for a concert. No where else will you get a clean safe hotel in Tacoma for 127 dollars.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Find other options. Longest lines for check-in. The cleaning crew here believes that if it smells clean, it is clean. They dumped so much cleanser and deoderizer in the room that it took my breath away. I could barely breathe. I'm guessing they were trying to cover the odor of pet mess because there are dogs all over the hotel (I saw 3-4 in the first hour). Fitness center is poorly equipped and not air conditioned (got a bonus sauna session). Did not have the room I reserved and acted like they didn't know anything about it. The social resreshments were water, an ice-cream cup, and a waffle. My rental car was hit in the parking lot; I asked the front desk if the have cameras. Instead of just saying no, we don't, I get the, parking is at your own risk lecture. They truly do not care about you, the customer. 2 days in a row with no hot shower. Just ridiculous! Worst military IHG ever. If you have a choice, stay elsewhere.

This place looks and feels fine, but it's entirely too expensive to be lacking consistent hot water

The hotel location and condition of the rooms are good. The breakfast is hot and had a great variety of healthy choices to pick from. However, we were surprised with a charge on our credit card for what was explained to us as “damage to linens.” Now, we never had hospitality service our room during our 3 night stay but was told that there was blood all over all the linens and two bath mats. We only had one bath mat. Not two. Now, we’re a couple in our 50’s and she hasn’t had a period in years and we certainly didn’t commit a murder, so obviously they got their rooms confused with another younger couple or maybe they were creating a scam to get more money out of us. It’s hard to say. But since housekeeping neglected to take pictures as proof of the “damage”, the hotel was forced to refund the $96.42 they billed our credit card for. I certainly do not recommend staying here but if you do, take plenty of pictures of your room before you check out.
