I was celebrated on Mother’s Day by my families with an awesome brunch! The food was excellent, the dining area was decorated beautifully. The staffs were friendly and courteous. I’d go there again.

The hotel and the rooms themselves are nice. What is not so nice is their policy of no exceptions for deposit returns. My cousin had planned a two-day visit in late June. Due to an illness and subsequent death in the family they tried to reschedule this to the end of April so they could visit their relative who is dying. The hotel refused to allow them to reschedule using the $1,000 deposit. So therefore, the $1,000 deposit was lost due this policy. I understand there's a good reason for policies, but for something like this, a severe illness which led to a death in the family, the policy should be able to be bent. As a result, my cousin made the trip to see her sister-in-law before she died. She ended up staying at another hotel near here, the Inn at Port Gardner, which was an exceptional experience. Make sure you read all the fine print and be prepared to lose a substantial amount of money if you book with this hotel and have an emergency that causes you to change plans.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! We stayed right above the outdoor patio (suggested by the front office for best ocean view). The music was so loud comimg from the kitchen/ outdoor patio until 1130pm and started again at 430am. Even after calling the front office and asking to please turn it down or off. Nothing worse than paying so much money for a hotel and not getting sleep... SO DISAPPOINTED.

Just Awesome! From bartender to management the staff rocks! Especially Kim, Jessica, and of course Alex! The views are awesome and great restaurant/ bars are super close. The on site restaurant and bar is great as well. Just saying that there is a lot going on locale wise.

I would give this hotel 10 stars out of five. We stayed at a series of hotels on a recent trip and this one was by far the best. The rooms are bright and airy, the bed was wonderfully comfortable, and the view from our third floor room looked out over the marina! But what really differentiates this hotel is the staff. All across the board the service was impeccable, Friendly, and cheerful, but not over the top. We had several meals in the hotel, which I don’t usually do. But not only is the dining room, beautiful and well staffed, the food is tasty. There are also a bunch of local restaurants and breweries within easy walking distance from the hotel, including the muse, which is a delightful coffee shop by day and speakeasy (get reservations) by night. What is less obvious about this hotel is their first rate event space. They have both indoor and outdoor event space that is really superb. The only negative I can think of is that there are exhaust fans on the roof of the restaurant, as there are required to be, but they are in front of the rooms so when you open the door to the balcony, you can hear the exhaust fans from the restaurant. But that was a very minor detail amongst a slew of positives.
