  One of if not the best hotel I have stayed at in the states in terms of service. But we did book our hotel through The Edit (chase travel plan) so we received an upgraded package

  This is what you want to experience in a 5-star hotel. From A to Z amazing experience, hospitality, service, room interior design, etc. We were booked here for a work trip and everyone was amazed by the great hotel and hotel rooms. It was also sooooo quiet, you couldn't hear any neighbor rooms, elevator, etc. 10/10

  I stayed at this location Saturday 9/26 - Sunday 9/27 as part of a road trip vacation and I had a mixed experience. Starting this review off with the good - the facility itself and the staff interactions were all top tier. From the minute we parked the car everyone we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and genuinely seemed like they both enjoyed what they do, and were interested in what myself and my fiancée were in town for. The room itself was excellent. It was very clean, and has many small details to enhance the experience including your choice of pillow, nightlights on the sides of the bed, an exceptional shower, and one of the more comfortable hotel beds I have ever stayed in. The reason for not giving this hotel 5 stars comes down to an unfortunate situation I experienced. I had bought a new Kuhl brand rain coat for this trip, and while packing up and checking out of the hotel I accidentally left it in the hotel room closet. I realized my mistake and called the hotel directory, which had an option to link directly to the lost and found which states is through the security department. I left a voicemail on Monday, 9/28 stating I had left the rain coat and would like to know it was turned in by housekeeping. I did not get an answer to this voicemail. After spending Sunday and Monday nights at Olympic national park my fiancée and I headed back toward Seattle on Tuesday, 9/29 to spend one last night in the city before flying home. On the drive I attempted to call once again regarding the coat, however, it went to voicemail again. At this point we decided to go to the hotel to inquire. The employee at the desk did search their lost and found and stated unfortunately, it had not been turned in. She was apologetic about this, and seemed like she wished there was more she could do. I am sure I had left the coat in the closest. It is a shame that such a nice experience otherwise was spoiled by an expensive article of clothing going missing. You would think when staying at a high end hotel like this if you mistakenly leave an article of clothing you would be able to return to get it, but this was not the case for me.

  Come to check in and step out within 20 minutes and decide to never come back. I arrived around 11am and plan to put my suitcase at the front desk then visit UW. At the door no one helped me with my luggage and I had to open the door manually with both hands occupied. Then waiting at the front desk for a few minutes to get the service then I was told you arrived early and came back at 4pm. No greetings and no one asked me about how to deal with my luggage, which is quite different from other hotels, and even different from other guests in the same hotel.
