  Checked into the InterContinental Bellevue at around 1:30 PM as an IHG Diamond Ambassador, and the overall stay left me with mixed feelings. While the hardware is brand new and modern, the experience leans heavily corporate and misses the hospitality mark expected at this price point and brand tier. Elite Recognition & Check-in Despite arriving at 1:30 PM with Diamond Ambassador status, there was no suite upgrade offered or available. The check-in process felt purely transactional and procedural rather than the warm, proactive recognition typically delivered across other InterContinental properties globally. Vibe & Atmosphere The property feels strictly like a high-end corporate business hub rather than a flagship luxury hotel. The design is sleek, sterile, and tailored for tech travelers and corporate conferences, but it lacks the distinct character, warmth, and leisure charm you would expect from a luxury weekend getaway. Dining & Breakfast The Breakfast (The Highlight): Breakfast was genuinely good and well-executed. The buffet offers a solid spread featuring a live made-to-order omelette station, fresh pastries, smoked salmon, charcuterie, and a welcome touch of Asian offerings like hot steamed pork buns (baozi) in bamboo steamers. Lack of On-Site Full-Service Dining: Beyond breakfast, the dining situation is underwhelming. There is no real full-service, dedicated fine-dining restaurant inside the hotel—just a lobby lounge/bar setup with casual bites and drinks. For a property carrying the InterContinental name, having to leave the building for a proper sit-down lunch or dinner is a noticeable drawback. If you are visiting Bellevue strictly on corporate business and just need a comfortable bed with a quality breakfast buffet, this hotel does the job. However, for elite members seeking genuine recognition, suite upgrades, and full-service dining facilities, it does not deliver the complete luxury experience.

  From the moment we arrived service was impeccable! 1. Steven the valet Took care of all of our bags immediately and made it so easy. 2. Make speaking with Leanne the Concierge your first stop! She got us reservations at a top restaurant even though it was a busy Friday night. She also organized a car service making my trip to the airport super easy and stress free! Thank you!

  Top notch hotel with excellent service and accommodating staff. Rooms were very quiet and well appointed. Leanne Larkin, the concierge, was particularly helpful, helping find babysitting services and restaurant options for our very large family wedding party. Highest recommendation on all fronts.
