  Ac units in the window. No central ac. Bugs in bed and multiple bugs in the bathroom around lavatory.

  We chose this hotel for a wedding. The room block was at the Hampton Inn in the same parking lot but the Holiday Inn Express was significantly cheaper with similar online reviews. When we checked in, we noticed a bug in the tub. We notified the front desk and they moved us across the hall to another room. Our new room did not appear to be cleaned well with coffee stains on the wall and it also had some bugs on the bathroom counter and windowsill. Theo room had temperature control issues which I think is consistent throughout the hotel. The room had a tower fan, central air conditioning which did not work, and a window unit. When we came back late after the wedding, it was 76 degrees in the room when the outside temperature was in the 60s. I turned on the window unit which had the code “CF” displayed on it which means “clean filter.” Eventually the room cooled down. The only nice thing in the room was a comfy bed. We chose not to use the shower because we did not believe it was clean. I am hoping that this review gets to the right people that are on the fence about staying here as they should find a different hotel. We will reconsider any Holiday Inn stays in the future because of this stay.

  This was a fantastic hotel. We came here for a tour trip and found clean rooms, warm breakfast, and nice staff! Would come here again.

  Ok. My review below was reviewed by the powers that be. They were apologetic, but are asking for proof via photos. If I'd known to take pics of the disgusting accommodations, I certainly would have! Trust me folks, what I have provided in regards to the condition of the room is 100% truth. There were other guests with the same concerns, some were even worse! I guess IHG will not take ownership of the ongoing problem. We will never stay at IHG again. Done. This was the absolute worst IHG property we have ever stayed in, and we have stayed in many over the past few decades. First, the room had a drain flies infestation! They were everywhere in the room. Next, the room was hot. The A/C didn't or couldn't cool the room. We had it turned down to 60°. There was a tower fan in the room which we had to move furniture to put the fan in front of the A/C to move the air. Apparently this has been an issue. Between the worry of the drain flies getting on us and the LOUD tower fan, it was extremely hard to sleep. Finally, for an IHG facility this was the dirtiest room we have ever been in. Carpet looked and felt filthy. The glass shelves were covered in dust. BTW, The website showed garage parking. Nope. Closed for construction. Update the website! The whole experience was a total let down. Not sure we will ever stay in this chain if hotels again.

  The AC did not work in our room. There was a portable unit on the floor, my husband had to put it together. But the worst part was the drain fly issue they have it’s horrible. They were in the bathroom on the sink, floor, walls and shower and in the bedroom on the head board, bed and walls. We were there with another couple and they had them too. Plus when we checked out others were also complaining. Tried to report it to the manager but she couldn’t be found. So I just reported it to the management company. Also if you are looking for covered parking it was not opened. I wouldn’t not stay there.
