- MCMichelle CrouseyMay 31, 20261.0Let me start by saying I'm an IHG member and have always stayed at a Holiday inn when I travel for the rewards points. I have stayed at Holiday inn across the country and am usually not too picky when it comes to hotels. Just need a comfy bed and hot breakfast to start my day off well on vacation. But, This place is terrible, would not recommend. Location is run down. Very dated for a large chain. Also, they did not tell me, untill check in, that the AC was not working in any of the rooms. They did add window units to the room but our actual bedroom only had fans which meant we needed to keep the bedroom door open all night to allow airflow. They also said bc of the lack of AC they would only be able to serve continental breakfast options. Also, very disappointing as the breakfast is the reason I opt for holiday inns as it saves us money in travel costs. Despite the inconvenience this placed on us, we were offered no compensation only a mild half hearted sorry. And when I asked if the AC had just went out, they said that it had been out for a week! Plenty of time to let me know about it in advance and make an informed decision about whether or not I wanted to stay there. Instead they waited until I arrived. It felt very sneaky how they did this. Also, this place is incredibly dated. Dingy carpets, mildewy bathroom caulking, mystery stains on furniture that makes you put a towel down before you sit. And the hallways audibly creaked so loudly in the hallways I thought I was gonna go through the floor. It made me wonder if lower floors could hear that and made me grateful we had the top floor. In addition, the shower would audibly scream when we showered. Like loud as heck! It took a lot of maneuvering to make it quiet down and would only not do it if we kept the water scalding hot. So needless to say we could not really shower comfortably on our stay. Did it previde a place to stay after hours of travel? But would I ever stay here again? No way.

Hotel is under some renovations and it is well needed. Room was very clean but you could tell it needed a freshen up. The mirror in bathroom had coating in mirror peeling off. Floor in kitchen looked very worn
