  My husband and I spent 6 nights at the Hill Farm Inn. It was perfect in every way. We stayed in the Battenkill Room. Absolutely beautiful. The Inn itself was tastefully decorated. The farm was so much fun. We especially loved the alpacas and farm cats Tiger and Maple. The staff were all so welcoming. Henrietta and Morgan (staff) and Property Manager Joanne) greeted us daily and helped with any questions about the area. They are hard working and gracious! Maria the wonderful farm chef prepared a delicious farm breakfast every morning. The farm to table restaurant honestly served the best meals we have had. Fresh and delicious! We cant say enough about this lovely property and are making this a yearly trip for our family and extended family. Thank you Hill Farm!

  Wow! We’ve been thinking of trying Hill Farm for a while, and we are really glad we did. A top notch restoration of this property makes it an exceptional choice. The rooms are so clean and well-appointed. The common areas are comfortable and cozy. The breakfast is outstanding - everything’s fresh and well-prepared. The Inn is really well-run, but the magic is the people (Joanne, Abby and Maria in particular). Friendly, gracious and working hard to take care of the guests. We ate dinner at the on site restaurant a couple of times and really enjoyed it — the space, inside a restored barn building, is very beautiful. An altogether great experience.

  I can’t think of enough superlatives to accurately convey how pleased we were with Hill Farm Inn. It is an exquisite mountain retreat—warm and rustic, yet modern and inviting in all the right ways. The accommodations were cozy and pristine, with a clear attention to detail from top to bottom; every element felt thoughtful and intentional. The breakfast was exceptional, and we dined at the restaurant two of the three nights—each meal was excellent in both quality and quantity. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive without ever feeling intrusive, striking the perfect balance of hospitality. We are a group of outdoor enthusiasts from New York and New Jersey and have been coming to Vermont for the past three years. This trip was the best, bar none. I read the reviews beforehand, and they were all spot on—Hill Farm Inn truly exceeded everyone's expectation. We are very much looking forward to coming back later in the year.

  This place from the outside is really nice and well kept. The menu for the restaurant is very fancy and unique. Highly recommend.
