⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Magical Wedding Weekend at Edson Hill We spent a wedding weekend at Edson Hill, and it was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The staff was attentive to every detail and went above and beyond to ensure that guests were comfortable and well cared for throughout the entire weekend. The setting is truly magical—the views look like something out of a fairy tale and provided the perfect backdrop for such a special celebration. Every aspect of the weekend felt seamless thanks to the outstanding staff and their attention to every need. The food was exceptional, and the service was warm, professional, and consistently excellent. Edson Hill created an unforgettable experience for the wedding couple and all of the guests. If you're looking for a beautiful Vermont wedding venue or a memorable getaway, Edson Hill is a truly special place. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

“Edson Hill - The Restaurant” in Stowe, VT, were very accommodating and understanding when I called them the day before stating we were driving from Connecticut, directly to them for dinner. I reserved our table through Resy app. We didn’t stay here, that’s why I haven’t scored the rooms. The location is beautiful and there’s parking outside entrance of the restaurant. Seating plan was good, however a bit close to other tables, to my liking (I could hear the next tables conversation very clearly). The food presentation was lovely. For drinks: sterling spritz, blackberry mint julep (sadly not to our liking, they both were a bit bland). The mains: Hudson Valley Duck (dish arrived tepid rather than hot) and Heritage Pork Chop. We were looking forward to our meal and were quite hungry after our long drive, so I didn’t mention anything at the time. Desserts: cheesecake (terrific!) and chocolate torte. I’d happily come here for the dessert. They were great! Strangely didn’t serve red wine by glass, only by bottle. We were also celebrating a milestone birthday, which had been noted with the reservation. While we weren’t expecting anything complimentary, there was no acknowledgment of the occasion during our visit. However, overall, it was a lovely start to our first visit to Vermont.

Great little place. I loved the concept of the outbuildings that contain the rooms - I stayed in one of the King rooms. Not having everyone clustered in the main house made it feel less full or busy. Clean and comfy furnishings. Fireplace was a really awesome add on. It is about a 15 minute drive to the mountain. It is a very quiet and serene spot tucked away in the woods. Really beautiful. My dinner at the restaurant was simply amazing and totally unexpected. Maybe the best beet salad I've ever had in my life. The only issue is with the room volume. I'm a light sleeper and the reason that I was excited about the hotel was that there were separated cabins that were likely to be quieter than a big hotel. Unfortunately that was not the case. The room heat is hydronic baseboard heat. Works well, but when it comes on you can hear the whole system expanding with from the hot water with creaking/banging. Also, the wall between rooms was not built as well as it could have been. Folks showed up in the room next to mine around midnight. Their door was loud opening/closing as well as I could hear them talking - not loudly, but I could still make out voices. I'd expect that in a brand name hotel, but was hoping for better here. Anyway - did not result in a good night's sleep, but the rest of the experience was better than expected.

100/10 stay-- Edson Hill is a peaceful and beautiful getaway in a secluded yet very accessible area of Stowe. Edson Hill mixes quiet elegance and coziness just perfectly. The grounds are stunning and snow shoeing is accessible for all ages and abilities. The rooms are well appointed, the bedding so comfortable, heated bathroom floor, in-room fireplace- all set the stage for a weekend of relaxation and elevated comfort. From the bartender (Vinny) to the desk staff to the wait staff the service is impeccable-- Big shout out to the chef & crew as the food is absolutely outstanding, farm to table, fresh, creative, delicious and presentation is so visually beautiful-- We LOVE Edson Hill and cannot wait to return-- an amazing place to "re-charge" for the weekend.

We visited Edson Hill for a long, snowy weekend with our teenager. The location was close enough to restaurants and ski areas, but it has the benefit of being in a quiet and pristine area away from crowds and cars. The property is gorgeous and has well-marked walking trails. Management and staff are professional and friendly, and their love for the business is clear. The restaurant has a small menu but everything is done exceptionally well. Their little pub is charming, and it offers a cozy fireplace and creative cocktails. I highly recommend this beautiful inn!
