  Hotel located near I64 and major commercial roads with several major shopping centers nearby, some in working distance. Lots of choices of restaurants nearby from fastfood to top end. The hotel is tucked behind the shopping area so it was very quiet. Plenty of parking Designed for longer stay, suite has full kitchen with full size refrigerator, 2 burner stove. Room size is decent, plenty of space to work and lounge (one lounge chair and one work chair.) Beds (2 Queen in my room) was nice and comfortable, with 4 pillows (2 soft and 2 hard). Bathroom was good size with plenty of space next to single sink. Bath tub/shower was good but water pressure was bit low. Room and bathroom was nice and clean, with heat and AC set at 68, you could feel bit damp and slight musky smell but this was at all hotels I stayed, so no issues here. Hotel check-in area is small, no real lounge here. Next to check-in area is small pantry for paid food/drinks, but also has single brew coffee and tea machine for free use, this is so much better than big pot of staled coffee. Opposite of check-in separated by a wall is single elevator. Hallway past check in to pantry leads to outdoor grill area (covered), hallway next to the checkin area leads to a room that has GYM and laundry area. GYM is small but functional, it has couple cardio machines, one multifunctional cable machine and some dumbbells. Near the door is laundry area with FREE washer and dryers!!! No breakfast is offered but price is much value than Marriott or Hilton brand suites.

  The people I interacted with at the desk were amazing. Extremely professional and courteous. The rooms and overall hotel is impressively clean for how old it is. I believe it would be better if they just went completely all tile or hardwood and left the carpet out. We love candlewood for their allowance of pets but I believe it would be more conducive if they did away with carpet. I purchase two rooms and one had carpet and the look and feel of the one without carpet was overwhelming better. It felt cleaner and more spacious. Once again im not saying the hotel wasn't clean, It most definitely was, but for the sake of being pet friendly and being more modern, I believe the carpet should be taken out. It can give a old look and is harder to clean. My one major compliant was the grass was terribly high. My family and I brought our puppy and it was an unpleasant experience to take him out in the Extremely high grass with frogs all in it.

  Hotel is dated but comfortable especially the bed and air conditioner. The bathroom needs updated and some maintenance. The shower curtain moved around and close to falling off. The hallways are dim and the elevator seems old and it's not very big. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

  Great room. Fully equipped with pots, plates, silverware. Comfortable beds. Only fault would be a lack of usb ports but there were plugs. Overall, a great stay.

  I like candlewood, the only thing is there's no breakfast. You have to buy your own breakfast. But other than that I would have given them a 4star.
