We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Wytheville on our way from Ohio to Myrtle Beach, and it was such a great experience! The staff was incredibly friendly, courteous, and welcoming. I have to especially mention the breakfast! It was honestly one of the best complimentary hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had, and the coffee was excellent, too! You can tell that care goes into making guests feel welcome and providing a great start to their day. The setting is beautiful, too! The hotel is tucked into a hillside with exposed rock formations that give the whole area such a cozy, tucked-away feel. It’s a really pretty spot and makes the stay even more enjoyable. We travel south from Ohio, and this will definitely be one of our go-to stops from now on. It’s so nice to find a place with wonderful hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and a delicious breakfast to start the next leg of your trip! Thank you to the staff for making our stay such a pleasant one. We’ll absolutely be back!

Typical rooms for a holiday inn but this particular one, I wouldn’t recommend staying if you have a child. We’d been in the car over 6 hours with a toddler, got in our room and he wanted to dance (with no music) for a few minutes - noise complaint. Walking around our room with a laughing, happy kid - noise complaint. We essentially couldn’t walk from the bed to the bathroom in our own room without someone complaining and the front desk person is telling us to calm our child down. Just go somewhere else.

This is a really well managed hotel. The room and bathroom were very clean. The desk receptionist was kind. The breakfast had an array of options and the staff were on top of keeping the area clean and taking away dirty dishes. We were impressed!

The rooms were spacious and clean. Front desk staff was friendly. The $5 parking fee in an area that everyone drives is ridiculous. That should be included in the room price no matter if it has been implemented for two years or not. Breakfast was lacking with some hot items cool in temp. Never have been to a hotel that offers breakfast where they had egg white veggie omelets and no plain scrambled eggs. Maybe trying to save money on less people eating eggs? Who knows.

Easy booking. Clean rooms. Hot showers. Comfortable beds. Delicious breakfast with many options. We will definitely stay here again.
