  This place is mid at best. I do appreciate the location and the people at the front desk were certainly nice, but the rooms are unimpressive, they’re not particularly clean, and while they have their interesting quarks, mostly they’re just poorly kept and not worth the price. The showerhead is at eye level, which is problematic if your hair is on top of your head, the shower itself is barely large enough to turn and bend over in, the overall bathroom is tiny, the closet door is as tall as my chest, and it was extremely humid in the room. It was a place to stay, and I needed that. But I would definitely not return.

  Rooms are clean and very neat. Carpet needs to be updated but overall it was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.

  I booked this hotel on the same weekend as Family Weekend at W&M. I usually would stay somewhere else, but this one fit my budget at the time. The check-in was smooth and those at the front desk were very nice and helpful. However, my issue was on the cleanliness of the rooms. The first room had dead spiders and other bugs in the corners and floors of the rooms and bathroom. The bed had a few small spiders crawling around the pillows. I asked for another room. I checked the bed of the second room, and there was a small spider crawling on the pillow and large ones hanging out in the corner behind the door. It was a bit musty in there, so the AC must not have been on. This time, I asked if I could cancel my booking and receive at least a partial refund. Those at the front desk suggested I check one last room they had available, but the third room had the same issue with small spiders crawling on the bed. We came to an agreement that I would be issued a partial refund, and I ended up booking other accommodations elsewhere. I'm a bit squeamish when it comes to spiders, so if that had not been an issue, I probably would have stayed. Some other reviews made mention of thin walls and short closet space, which is true for the rooms I went into. I would also mention that some paint on the walls were starting to peel and that the mirror in the bathroom does not accommodate to anyone 5'2" and below (I'm 5'0").

  The man walked me b4 I paid and showed me the bed, told me about all amenities. He pulled the bed and pillows apart. Very quiet. No smoking but I liked it we enjoyed the quiet u can sit right outside you're room

  Amazing staff and the room was very spacious and so clean. I have stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels that were not this clean. What you see in the pictures is what you get. Great location. You are right in the middle of everything. I definitely would stay here again and recommend it to anybody who wants to visit Williamsburg.
