  Stay here after driving 5 hours to Waynesboro before visiting Shenandoah National Park. The place was busy with guests inside and out. We were promptly taken care of and headed to our room. They had a pool table in the front lobby which I thought was a nice idea. I have never seen this in other Holiday Inns. It also had a nice breakfast area, but we did not have any since we had planned something else for breakfast. It looked like the typical Holiday Inn breakfast. The room was clean, other than what might have been a stain on the floor in the bathroom. This is hard to see in the pictures I provided. The bathroom was well stocked with towels and bathroom supplies. The shower had shampoo, conditioner and body wash. After getting my bill I was surprised to see a $5 charge for parking. I don’t ever remember seeing the $5 charge on any passed Holiday Inn Express receipts. Parking should be provided free of charge.

  Very disappointing stay at the Holiday Inn in Waynesboro, VA. We chose a hotel expecting a comfortable, quiet place to relax, but instead we had to listen to extremely loud music from Plaza Antigua, the Mexican restaurant located right next to the hotel, until after 10 PM. The music was so loud that it was clearly audible inside our hotel room and made it difficult to relax or enjoy our evening. We contacted the front desk, and we were simply told that the music would stop at 10 PM and that there was nothing they could do about it. While I understand that the restaurant is a separate business, the hotel absolutely has a responsibility to consider the experience of its paying guests. If a hotel is located directly next to a business that routinely plays extremely loud music at night, guests should be made aware of that before booking. We paid to stay at a hotel, not to have a restaurant’s music blasting through our room for hours. This was incredibly frustrating and completely ruined what should have been a relaxing evening. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place to stay in Waynesboro, I would strongly recommend staying somewhere else. The hotel should be doing more to address this issue rather than simply telling guests there is nothing they can do.

  We appreciated being able to get a very comfortable room with two queen beds and an additional sofa sleeper to meet the needs of our family. Very helpful front desk staff and clean hotel. Thank you.

  IF You are a long term guest you are forgotten. NO ROOM SERVICE! Even after requesting service you wait DAYS!!!!!
