  Awesome location, right by the metro to get anywhere in the DC area. We visited National Mall, Museums like the Smithsonian, one stop away from a local mall with lots of food and the first floor of the hotel has a grocery store where you can also get extra stuff for your room. The staff was very friendly, breakfast was delicious and on our last day we found out they have a patio outside where you can grab drinks and food while listening to live music. Would definitely stay here again!

  Nefertiti winter is rude and needs to be fired. She’s acting like this is a red roof in. I asked her for matches for birthday candles. And she said ‘THERES NO SMOKING ON THE PREMISES OR ANYWhere AROUND IT’ in a very condescending tone. Mind you I don’t smoke or smell like it. She made me feel ghetto and unwelcome. When I told her that she made me feel like that. Instead of apologizing she said ‘I DIDNT DO ANYTHING WRONG’ and kept giving me attitude. Also she was there blabbering w some lady and didn’t pay attention to her customers. She makes you have to interrupt her conversation.

  Omg this place is a GEM! I was looking for a space for a one night staycation and I couldn’t have lucked up on a better spot. Not only was the room and entire place amazing, but the service and the add on amenities made me feel like I was away from home all together. Ample outside space, the perch, outdoor fire pits, a speakeasy, a bar and restaurant and billiards table, tons of spaces to be social and step away for time alone. And the price was PERFECT! I’m already planning my next stay!

  The Watermark is EVERYTHING! Would recommend to anyone traveling in the NOVA/DC area. Had a great experience with staff members. Service was excellent and really accommodating. The room was very clean. Water temp and pressure in the shower was great. And the bed was beyond comfortable. I will say if you like a firmer pillow, to pack one. Other than that no complaints about the room at all. The location is wonderful if you wanted to go shopping at Tysons corner or the Galleria, take a trip to DC to explore the monuments, or even drive to Old Town Alexandria. The Wren, adjacent from the lobby, is such a nice restaurant and the food and drinks were amazing. On the 9th floor is The Aviary, where a simple yet delicious breakfast is served. There is a beautiful view of the Capital One park and metro. Also, outside on the 11th floor is The Perch/Perch Putt. A lot of quick service stations if you wanted to grab a bite to eat or enjoy a drink while playing mini golf. Also if you needed to get any simple groceries or necessities, Wegmans is literally right next door. Looking forward to staying here again in the near future.

  Be very cautious: the customer service is less than what you would expect at a Holiday Inn. The staff - both client-facing and managerial - are not anticipatory and do not take initiative. They are not accustomed to problem solving, accommodating, or doing any of the baseline social things that are basic elements of the service industry. They cannot guarantee a room. They cannot confirm a reservation. They cannot help with bags. There is no room service. It is honestly a bit odd. Think of it more like an air bnb with clean rooms: no guarantee the reservation will be there, no “staff” available, always a roll of the dice, bring your own survival kit, and choose your own adventure.
