Heidy at the front desk heard us talking about our anniversary and gave us a complimentary upgrade to a corner suite with a balcony—it was huge! We loved the speakeasy, the outdoor entertainment, and puttputt. There was so much to do and so close to home. We’ll definitely be back!
- MBMalcolm BernardSep 24, 20263.0I really like this hotel. I like the elevator system - Very safe and secure. Hotel staff is nice and hats off to the cleaning crew - this place is immaculate. But I have to talk about the internet. My God - it’s a crime in an age when we’re on the verge on using quantum entanglement to create internet speeds beyond our wildest dreams that a hotel exists where they’re comfortable offering 20 Mbps internet speed. And depending on the time of day, I saw that number drop to 13 Mbps. To put it in perspective, I logged off their WiFi and used my 5g cellphone as a hotspot and got 400 Mbps. The terrible speed is bad, but the insult added to injury is the regular drops from the WiFi. So you’re getting disconnected and trying to get the splash screen back to access the internet repeatedly. I would love to give this place a higher rating. It’s fantastic as long as you understand what you’re getting and what you’re not. Don’t come here expecting room service and a bunch of amenities. You will get a clean, safe and relatively quiet place in a wonderful location. And that’s it. Your room service will be DoorDash, your Wi-Fi will be your own cellphone Hotspot.

Front desk staff was very nice at least--once I actually found them. Place has a more complicated elevator system than the Sears Tower. I wanted a place to sleep, not a CHALLENGE.
