- DSDel Ulmer, SrSep 19, 20261.0Walking into the lobby you could smell an order. It was 12:30 am and I had driven 12 hours with too much equipment to leave in my vehicle. I decided I would just leave after my conference calls. I waited at the front desk 20 minutes to be checked in, because the desk clerk was in the back office asleep. Walking to my room the floors were filthy along with the elevator floors that was sticking. My room was not properly cleaned. It's too much to go into detail about. I was able to work my stay out with the manager. That is the only positive that I can say about this property. Candlewood is my go to when I'm traveling and have time to prepare my meals. This is the worst one that I've stayed in so far. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Looking at the reviews I should have them before I booked. I just took for granted that it would be fine from my past visits at different locations. Hope this helps.
- BLBruce LewisSep 14, 20265.0One of my Go-2 places to stay whenever I need a room. Great staff, nice clean rooms, reasonable prices, low-key area back in the cut behind 7-ELEVEN.

- HBHarry BeckJul 20, 20264.0I stayed here in July 2026 with my son. I had very low expectations based on the reviews that I read but I was very pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and not too dated. Check in staff were friendly. Hotel was quiet. There seem to be some folks here who are on long-term work assignments nearby but they were very respectful and neighborly. I stayed on a Friday night. No shenanigans. Yes, the train tracks are right behind the back of the hotel and they are loud. Not the hotels fault.
