- MCMere COct 1, 20265.0Great Cavern Tour! Smaller than some of the other we have attended but completely unique as always. Our tour guide, Lincoln, was wonderful! He gracefully handled some difficult participants calmly and with more patience than I would have had. He was knowledgeable and made sure everyone had a good time even if the rest of the group couldn't follow the rules. Great formations with just enough stairs to get your heart rate elevated.

They were very accomodating. We took our 3 dogs. Their antique store was really cool. Again made me nostalgic seeing so many things my family had when I was a kid. Great job Dixie Caverns. Can't comment on the cave.

Lots of climbing steps going up and down. We had a tour guide named Zac. Very informative and funny guy. He was through with his guide. Zac has alot of knowledge of the cave system. Its worth the time to stop and see for yourself. Located off Intersate 81 south near Salem, Virgina. Thanks to Zac we had a great time. Ask for tour with Zac...
