  I have been staying at the Holiday inn in Rocky mount Va for 2 months now . Almost every time I have checked in Hanna has been here . She is always happy and welcoming. Any issue that I have came across she has quickly corrected . The second week I stayed here I discovered the tv didn’t work in my room . Hanna happily and quickly change my room to accommodate the inconvenience . She is always welcoming and makes the stay feel relaxed . Hanna is easy to talk to and very respectful.

  First of all, I’ve been A IHG platinum elite member for 26 years I believe. In all of those Years I’ve never wrote a good nor a bad review. My last visit to Rocky Mount, VA I was greeted by a delightful young lady Hannah Davis with a cheeriness and professionalism that I hadn’t seen in a long time. After 15 minutes or so in my room I actually had a headache from the bleach smell and went back to the front desk. Hannah Davis inspected my room and immediately agreed the bleach smell was intense. Although the hotel was near capacity, she was able to swing me a room and intentionally made it as close by as possible to make the swap easier. My second room I couldn’t get the TV to work and Miss Jacqueline of all trades once again was able to find some magic button behind the TV and get it to reset. None of these are super acts, of course, but she So kind and thorough and had a warmness about her that made me wanna write my first and only review. I might add a several months earlier. I had been passing through Rocky Mount and had an awful experience where Whoever was at the front desk Nice guy, but he equipped to check in several guests. We spent literally a half hour piling up, which was really annoying because I was beat tired. Then I want to take a hot tub because when I booked it I did so because I saw they had one nobody had alerted me to it, but it was busted. I made a mental note to not stay in Rocky Mount, VA again. I did however, stay again as a for mentioned and because of Hannah Davis and back again two weeks later. I travel through here regularly have many options. Many hotel plans, but super happy to stay in Rocky Mount! IHG, you have a real gem in Hannah Davis. Such talent should definitely be rewarded! Lastly, when I showed up today, I asked Hannah if anyone had seen the review and she sadly said no her boss had looked for it, but couldn’t find it. I sent it in on the IHG app and it got lost in cyberspace evidently. The fact that I’m taking the time to write my second review in 26 years about the same gal, Hannah Davis should tell you something about her. Thank you, John R. Carrier

  Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und sauber, das Bett war gemütlich. Das Frühstück war recht enttäuschend, und alles auf Einweggeschirr. Am meisten nervt mich aber (noch immer) die Diskussion dass das Hotel mir keine Rechnung ausstellen will, da ich über booking.com gebucht habe. Bei anderen Hotels ist das selbstverständlich das es eine Hotelrechnung auch in diesem Fall gibt. Booking kann mir sogar die genaue Passage des Vertrages nennen, und das Hotel reagiert diesbezüglich auf keine E-Maisö

  Great location. Hotel is dated and needs some renovations, BUT CLEAN!! First room the remote control didn't work, they looked at it but had to move me to another room. Elevators were not working so had to pack up to carry everything down only to carry it back up. Upgraded room was nice and clean. There was some plywood patching around the tub. Overall a good stay but time to renovate. Anna(?) at the front desk was great. Poor lady was by herself but was getting it down.

  I have gone to this hotel with my family since it was built, and I have never had a bad experience until now. The elevator stopped working, while one of my family members were on it. Their plug in stations didn't work. We didn't get housekeeping for the four days we were there, so we were left with no toilet paper until we got it ourselves. There was no toilet paper in the pool bathroom, and not even in the public bathroom, I had to go ask for some, so others would not go without. They didn't turn on the lights in the pool area for one whole day, and that was fine until sunset, where we were walking on wet pavement in the dark, until we had to ask them to turn on the lights for everyone's safety. The pool was dirty, and there was soap in the hot tub. They said the pool would be open when it wasn't. One of the employees were rude when I asked for extra towels, and pillows. I have never had such a bad experience, but it will definitely be my last.
