I travel throughout the country every year with roughly 10 of my stays being with Holiday inn/IHG hotels and Ive never seen a room this bad. Exposed wires coming out of the carpet, beat up couches for the 1960's, smelly torn up carpet, and just super outdated . It was so bad that i walked in, sat on the bed, and walked back out. I didnt even want to take my shoes off to walk around the room. I would have tried another room but i was reassured by management that they were all equally as bad...yes the staff told me the rooms were all that bad! I want to be clear that this was the Holiday inn side, not the Candlewood suites side. Very,very upsetting after driving 9 hours and wanting to relax and then having to find another hotel that was no where near the location i wanted to stay. This place needs serious help. I will say the ladies at the front desk were very nice and honest so that helped.

Stayed here 2 days and every time I would come or go, you had to hold your breathe through the cloud of smoke. It was awful. I would suggest a place away from the front doors.
