- JSJoseph Slayton1 day ago2.0The rooms were comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was great, but if you had to get anything as in vending machine food or drinks the prices were extreme, not to mention the weekend that I was there everybody's rooms had issues with the TVs. Mine had no sound and only a few channels and from what I heard they weren't even letting people know about it beforehand. Told the front desk about it and they said that they were having to switch providers at the time and didn't even offer anything for compensation.

Had a power outage and since I was working in the area the next day I opted to stay at this property and prepaid my reservation online to save some money. When arriving at the property Ge was a nightmare. I was essentially denied check in because I’m a local and apparently Lynchburg is a dangerous area and the surrounding counties, since technically I live in Amherst. Thank you to the Hokiday Inn at Salem that re booked me and I had a wonderful stay. Property may be nice but it’s in the hood of Roanoke. Wendy’s next door has drug addicts just standing around, so the nerve of the staff. Do not recommend. For reference I live 63 miles from property and there local policy is 65miles. Petty isn’t the word for those two.

Staff were friendly and helpful. During this stay one of the two elevators was out of service. Didn't seem to create any issues though. This location featured the Costa coffee machines which grinds the beans and brews on demand. No in-room coffee makers unless specifically requested. Location was convenient. Very near Berglund Center.
