I had stayed here previously on the holiday in side, (they are connected). The rooms were great and the service was good. Second stay was on the candlewood suites side. Room was on the bar side which can be noisy depending on if someone is having fun at the bar, but they do seem to get everyone out by 9-10. The room was very dark however on that side. It was missing most of the kitchen needs but I was offered what I needed and assured that everything was in order due to a recent change of GM and visit from the VP. The service was spectacular, from every aspect of this location. Great place, and if you have allergies to pets like I do you should be okay even though they do allow service animals. Whitney was our bartender and fantastic. Will use this location every time I’m in Roanoke.

I will say that it was not so great when we first arrived but they did some great work switching employees and everything and it is sooo much better now! The staff is always pleasant and as helpful as they can be! Megan at the front desk is our favorite, she is always smiling and brings special light to this hotel! We just love her!! They have a nice fitness are that is always clean, and the pool room is nice as well! I like that they have several elevators so if you don't want to wait you can just go to the next elevator! These guys have accommodated us to a great extent and we are so thankful for the new crew!! They also have a new menu with tasty items to choose from, I definitely recommend stopping by black birch to grab a bite to eat!!
