  Had the best stay here. 10ish minute walk to allianz amphitheater. Rooms are nice, beds super comfortable. But the best part was definitely the customer service from Justin at the desk. What an incredibly kind and helpful guy. He deserves a raise! Would absolutely stay here again.

  A very convenient and comfortable place to stay in Richmond. The location worked perfectly for us while exploring Vancouver and Richmond, especially since we were traveling by car. The room was comfortable and practical, and everything we needed was nearby. It was nice being able to come back to a quiet and comfortable room after spending the whole day sightseeing. For anyone doing a road trip or looking for somewhere convenient near Vancouver Airport and Richmond, this is a very practical choice. We enjoyed our stay!

  This is the last Holiday Inn Express that we will ever stay in.* Too many have been disappointing. This one was just gross. The good news is that the employees were all great, friendly, and hustled to help us. The location to area restaurants and things to see was great. The hotel parking garage is $20/day. The bad news is that so much of the bedroom 414 was dirty. The HVAC in the room sounded like a large truck when it turned on. The body wash in the shower was empty. The skim milk in the breakfast fridge was spoiled. The outside walkway was painted to spruce it up and then became a slipping hazard. Rather than fixing it, they put up signs. * There are 2 or 3 very nice ones that we have stayed in and will likely continue to stay there.

  Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express in downtown Richmond was absolutely stellar. My husband and I were in town for our son’s Yellow Ribbon ceremony, and the entire team went above and beyond to make a meaningful weekend even more special. You can truly feel the warmth, grace, and kindness of the staff the moment you walk through the door.We want to give a huge shout-out to the incredible individuals who made our stay so memorable: Justin at the Front Desk was amazingly personable, so knowledgeable about the local area, and gave us excellent recommendations that truly enhanced our trip. Patric, one of the night managers, was wonderful to speak with. I personally shared our great experience with him, and he was so genuinely pleased and gracious to hear feedback from a customer. Laya in the Kitchen was absolutely wonderful and brought so much warmth to our mornings. Ms. B and Ms. Sheryl from Housekeeping are simply wonderful women—we are so incredibly grateful for everything they do to keep things perfect. The second Justin was also fantastic, thoughtfully coming around to ensure we always had fresh towels and linens exactly when we needed them. Every single department radiates genuine hospitality. We are deeply grateful for their kindness during such an important event for our family. If you are visiting Richmond, we cannot recommend this hotel highly enough!

  This is already my second stay here, and the Holiday Inn Express Richmond Downtown has quickly become one of my favorite places to stay in Richmond. The customer service is excellent. Everyone is friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. I accidentally double booked my stay through a third-party website, and the staff went out of their way to help me cancel the extra reservation and resolve everything smoothly. The hotel is super clean, and my room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless. The central downtown location is very convenient, and I was also pleasantly surprised by the amount of street parking available nearby. Breakfast is included, which is another nice bonus. Overall, another excellent experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
