  Very nice hotel and very clean. Our room was super nice and clean and very comfortable. I would recommend this property to anyone who is visiting Richmond Virginia.

  For the price you pay, this hotel is more than enough for the average persons needs. Comfortable beds and friendly staff go a long way and you will find it here. Rooms could use an upgrade, but from what I understand they are doing a renovation towards the end of the year. I cannot wait to see the latest and greatest Candlewood Suites. Love this place and great location.

  The staff here under the leadership of General Manager, Michael are doing an exceptional job. They know me by name and always have a smile on their faces. Clean rooms. Great prices. Plenty of parking. Kitchenettes to make my own meals. Great deal

  BEWARE!!! Email was sent to management. I walked in, employee was helping another guest and her toddler. There was some issues and conflict as it was clearly heard. That guest was told to call her back and she went to the chairs. I came up to the desk, asked my name, got told there was no rooms and “why did this stupid system allow you to book?” Employee asked me. I said I had no clue that it booked and said the last one. She was fussing and then told me I had to go up to room 604 to check it to make sure it had been cleaned properly before she could move forward. She handed me a key card and told me to go check. So I did as my toddler is covered in vomit and we are 4 hours away from home. I went up, checked, it was clean. I came down and employee was helping the guest she was helping when I first came in. Again, still arguing as it was obvious there was a clear issue. Employee basically shushed her to the chairs to figure it out. I was told to come up, then it went down hill. She put my credit card on First Ladies room under her name. It charged my credit card, see photo for that too. She started getting annoyed, saying she shouldn’t have came in tonight, then how stupid those people are, then how she was irrated with them and how they are not listening. Once she explained to me that she attached my card to another room, I explained that I did not feel comfortable with that at all. I was as truly horrified with the treatment I received from just the 20 minute interactions with her. I explained that I need a room but I need proof my card will not be charged for their room. She stated multiple times she could not provide me that and kept asking me to “cancel the transaction” on my banking app. I told her there’s no way that she needs to fix it. She said she could not fix it and did not know how. She then tried to put us in a room 7 something and said it should be almost alike to what I booked, but she wasn’t sure as she didn’t know which rooms were what. I asked her to cancel everything as at this point with how she was talking to me and treating me, I did not feel comfortable or safe staying in the hotel. I was fearful that my card would be charged more and more, attached to others room, and now my personal information being shared. I asked her for proof showing my room was canceled. She could not provide it. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that no one is here and they’ll be here Monday. I am completely disgusted with the treatment and how a professional hotel chain treats customers. We are nomads, we travel nearly monthly and have never experienced this kind of treatment anywhere we’ve stayed before. I would like written proof this has been handled as I am completely terrified that my credit card information has now been shared with who knows and charged absurd amounts.
