  The toilet runs continously, the lamp was damaged beyond repair the telephone doesn't work. The elevator was not working on arrival. My first report was completed today. I reported all maintenance deficiencies. My patience usually last a week. There is no price point that will make me ignore the common every day maintenance and repair issues that arise on a regular basis.

  This was my 2nd year going to this hotel and it was drastically different than last years experience, our group normally stays here because it’s close to the Richmond convention. Our groups room had roaches and we talked to the front desk multiple times about resolving it via switching rooms or being refunded and both were dismissed as Virginia “has roaches, it’s normal” I’m sorry but FL is also “known for having roaches” and not once have I ever been to a hotel that has them. We tried talking to a manager multiple times and they were NEVER there, and our toilet also randomly stopped working. Overall not a great experience, will not being attending next year.   Weve stayed in this hotel for the past 3 years for our annual convention trip. This year I was highly disappointed. Our group had 4 separate rooms. There was roaches in 2 of the rooms, one room wasn't even cleaned before we got in, another rooms shower was absolutely disgusting and food left in the fridge. When we went to address our concerns about roaches we were met with, "well, its Virginia, we have roaches." Now I could be wrong, but I've NEVER been in another hotel that had roaches. Disgusting. They couldnt switch our rooms because they were fully booked, and getting a refund or even partial refund was like pulling teeth. Photo attached of live roach in our bathroom. We will NOT be staying here again next year.

  I’ve there for 3 days they had a lady in the room above on the 4th floor with 3 dogs in the room by themselves I no sleep while I was there never did understand why would you put someone with that many dogs on the top floor. And these aren’t little dogs!! They wouldn’t let me switch rooms because of the noise!!!!

  Im not sure how this place is even still allowed to operate, imo. It needs a visit from the city to make sure its up to code & a visit from the health inspectors. If i could give it 0 stars , i would. For starters , as someone with a legitimate disability, i should have been able to park in the handicap parking with my placard but they were all taken up by imbeciles with no tag anywhere. One guy was sitting in his car drinking, in the handicap. Just whipped in there any old way. Secondly, the safety & security. Which is what done it for me. When you first walk in, it looks like any other normal hotel but the staff was no where to be found & there was a half naked drunk lady changing in the lobby???? When i did get someone, i got the key card & nobody verified who I was or what i was doing here. I just gave them the room number & told them I needed a key. (I was here because I sometimes surprise my hubby on out of town work trips). She just handed it over & told me that if I needed anything to let her know. Good to know that paying customers safety & privacy arent taken seriously here. Giving some rando a key card could potentially cause issues. Third. When i walked up the stairs to the second floor & opened the door to walk down the hallway, the smell of weed had completely taken over half of the second floor. Im pretty sure someone could get a contact buzz it was so strong. Immediate disgust. Fourth. I got to my husbands room & it smelled like old dogs & funky mold . Im not sure if it was the ac, the outdated carpet or what but it smelled like ass. There was nothing pleasant about it. Fifth . The caddy that holds the shampoo /soap in the shower was broken, the shower head was rusted & looked like it had been through the war of 1812 & dont get me started on the janky & crooked handicap bars in the bathroom. By no means am I high class but the shit they got going on here is GHETTO & disgusting. Its below poverty behavior. Save your hard earned money & look somewhere else if you dont want to be disappointed.
