  I am writing to warn other travelers regarding my recent stay at your Holiday Inn Express location. During breakfast, my wife asked if more bacon was being provided, the behavior of the staff was very unusual, creating an uncomfortable and unsafe atmosphere. So strange, that I chimed in "Never mind, we don't need the bacon." We left and got breakfast at a safer location. Due to this experience, I no longer feel comfortable staying at Holiday Inn Express properties. Please investigate this matter immediately. I look forward to your response detailing how this situation will be addressed for future customers. from a physical, bodily safety perspective as well as food safety perspective.

  Don't be a weary traveler, and need their facilities. One look and was told, "I can't let you go this time of night." Huh... I can rent a room. But I can't us the rest room. Wow...2026!!!!!

  The carpets in the room were dirty and the shower floor was peeling, the pancake machine was broken, the oatmeal bar was lacking, there was no biscuits and gravy like all the other holiday inns across the country. (Thats the only reason I stay in holiday inns). the pool was green like the reflecting pool in the nation's capital. The staff was nice tho. Won't be staying here again thats for sure.

  While they do have a pool, it is quite useless here! Booked for the week due to having a pool. Disappointed.

  The room we were assigned had clearly been USED prior to our arrival: 1. The toilet seat was up, implying that it had been used by a man. 2. There was tobacco dip in the toilet, that never fully flushed away. 3. There were no bath towels. Coincidentally, there was a bundle of towels in the hallway floor, across from our door (10 p.m. at night; we had arrived late) when I went to the front desk to get towels. The front desk lady in the morning tried to explain it away, saying it was in the plumbing. If it was in the plumbing it would have continued. I responded to their survey with my complaint, and received a perfectly worded (clearly AI) canned response asking to give them another chance to make it right. I replied that I would be happy to, for 2 free nights in a king suite, since that is what we paid for expecting a CLEAN UN-USED room. No response back. I fully expect another AI response.
