  One of the worst places to try to sleep. Loud obnoxious HVAC system in closet next to bed . Cycling every 30 min , comparable to jet engine noise . Vent directly pointing at bed so blasted with cold air. Soft mattress, sink to middle , terrible for your back. Blackout shades don’t cover windows, get parking lot lights all night long . Would never recommend

  We lived at the Staybridge for two months after we sold our home in McLean and were waiting for the renovation of our new home to be completed. This was not planned but when we realized that we would not be able to move into our new home before we settled on the McLean home, living at the Staybridge with our two dogs was a good solution. Michael was particularly helpful when I stopped by after I made the booking to ask if we could be located on the first floor since we have dogs. He was able to give me several pieces of advice about my booking as well as letting me know that they have storage closets that could be reserved. The staff were all very friendly and made our interim stay pleasant.

  Internet said Staybridge was a step up. It's actually a step down. Small room, cheaper furnishings, nice, but minimal, staff.

  Not luxurious, but extremely well run—and honestly exactly what I needed for a week-long work trip. I really appreciated having a full kitchen and a separate living room where I could relax and watch TV at the end of the day. The evening happy hour was much more substantial than I expected. There was someone pouring wine, and one night they had mac and cheese, fruit, and vegetables—enough that I made a meal out of it. I believe they had tacos another night. Breakfast was also excellent, with plenty of options and enough variety to accommodate different dietary needs. The location was a huge plus. The neighborhood is quiet, there’s a grocery store right next door, and my meetings were at MITRE in McLean. I had absolutely no trouble getting there in the morning and encountered essentially no traffic, while other people I was traveling with were dealing with significant traffic getting across McLean from other hotels. For my trip, the location was clutch. I also accidentally left my glasses behind after checkout, and the staff was incredibly helpful in getting them back to me. They actually answer the phone when you call, which sounds like a small thing, but it makes a huge difference when you need help. Again, this is not a luxury hotel, but it is comfortable, practical, well managed, and very convenient. For an extended work trip, I would absolutely stay here again.
