  Came into town for a concert. Realized I booked for the wrong day. Front desk rep was so nice! She helped us rebook for that evening and it became a non- issue! So grateful for her understanding and kindness! Room was clean and hall was quiet!

  Stayed here on a business trip in my work truck. First issue, truck requires 2 parking spaces, 26' box truck. "We only allow one space per room". You must move to across the street and park behind Cracker Barrel! Difficult to access, dark, hidden area, real secure. NOT! Must cross 4 lanes of traffic, no walkways, cut through the folliage with luggage!! Next, no coffee maker in room! That was rectified by a very nice housekeeping lady that brought me one after I had to leave a message with the front desk because they didn't answer when I called! Next, the remote for the TV would not operate as it should! Change channel, volume, NOPE! So called "maintenance" man tried twice before he brought another remote that worked! Upon leaving, nobody at front desk to get my receipt, needed for my employer. Of course it's available online, just another annoyance! Room was okay, inter seemed to be throttled down early in the morning, worked faster the evening before! Certainly NOT the usual Holiday Inn Express experience!

  Not too fond of my stay here. Came down for a big concert at jiffy lube stayed here. Arrived and asked if room was ready (we were a bit early) got told no, ok no big deal was expecting that, asked if while we wait for the room to finish can we use the pool, I’m told no that’s for paying hotel guest…. Uhm hello if I have a reservation and am waiting for the room to be ready then I am a paying guest. Moving along, the front was all of a sudden able to maneuver to allow check in - cool We go about our day we use the room a. Hour before leaving for the venue, from 3 pm until 130 in the morning we were not at the hotel, I get back to hotel only to find nope no parking, and only half the parking lot is open, I go in speak to the gentleman inside only to find out I have to park down the street at another hotel and walk in the PITCH BLACK with my sleeping child who had been at the event with me all day or park in Cracker Barrel’s private parking a carry my stuff along with my sleeping child across a dark road. On top of that the parking is marked private parking…. This should’ve been advised that we would have to park else where PRIOR to my stay! This hotel had been booked for a while. Moving along. I told the hotel rep no I won’t be, private property means if you don’t have permission from property owner then no u can park there. No parking passes were offered or anything. Almost $300 for a hotel room and can’t even park on the property, what is the point of saying parking on site but you can’t park on site. I asked for a refund and was going to drive 2 hours back home and was told no. After 30 minutes I was forced to park in a fire zone, where my truck sat all night, did I sleep no, was I constantly worried that my truck was going to be towed Absolutely who wouldn’t be. No apology no offer to make it right nothing. 1st and I promise the last time I will ever waste a penny with the holiday INN. At least the pricier hotels I’m guarenteed parking no matter the time I get back.
