2 of the front desk staff was really nice, they were knowledgeable and very kind. However there was one front desk person who checked us out, she was very rude. I stay in IHG often and I usually write a good review, this stay was a bit disappointing. I reserved 2 rooms, one day the electricity went off, the next day the water went off while I was in the shower. The breakfast was never completely stocked, we had to ask them to freshen up our rooms and my bill was more than what the app said it would be. I wouldn't recommend this particular hotel

During my career I’ve stayed at many HIE’s. This one is by far the absolute worst. Upon arrival the room smelled musty like mildew. The HVAC was inadequate to cool or dehumidify the room. Despite the online description of amenities, each room does not have its own Keurig coffee maker. You must go to the lobby and wait in line like cattle for one of two coffee makers to become available and hope one is working. The complimentary breakfast bar looked appealing but the steam trays were mostly empty only a hour after they began serving. Stayed three nights and housekeeping never brought fresh towels, emptied wastebaskets or made beds. Don’t waste your money here.

We stayed here July 4th weekend, best park of this hotel was parking lot, tons of parking. Front desk was rude, as if it bothered him to check us in. Room looked very old but clean. Breakfast both days seemed barely anything at 8am, it’s over at 9:30. We didn’t receive housekeeping! Very disappointing after a long day out to come back to dirty towels. Husband went to get new ones. Towels looked old and very thin! Beds are comfortable. AC didn’t ever seem to go lower than 75, no need for covers those two nights. They did have cinnamon rolls, at least!

We recently stayed here for two nights and, overall, had a good experience, but there are definitely some areas that could use improvement.
The lobby was clean, inviting, and well maintained. The staff was exceptionally friendly from check-in to check-out. We really appreciated the complimentary fresh lemonade and delicious cookies available for guests. Every housekeeper we passed in the hallway greeted us with a smile, which made us feel welcome.
Although we didn't use the pool, the pool area looked clean and well maintained. Our room had excellent amenities with plenty of electrical outlets, USB ports, and lighting. The refrigerator was clean, and the bed was very comfortable with no sagging or worn-out spots.
There were, however, several housekeeping issues. The white duvet had a noticeable dirty spot in the center that should have been laundered before the room was assigned. After taking off my shoes and walking around the room while unpacking, I mentioned to my husband that the carpet felt unusually sticky. Later, when I showered, the bottom of the shower became covered with black grime that had come off my feet. It was honestly pretty shocking. (After that incident, I kept my flip flops on anytime I was walking around.) There was also visible soap scum on the shower floor, making it clear that it isn't being deep cleaned regularly.
The shower drained well, but the water pressure was only decent, and the water never became truly hot. Oddly enough, the sink water got very hot without any problem. There were plenty of visibly clean towels and washcloths, but I would have appreciated an extra roll of toilet paper. One roll was already about three-quarters used, and there was only one full replacement.
The air conditioner also struggled to keep the room cool. We set it to 72 degrees, but the room always felt damp rather than comfortably cool. There was a noticeable musty smell when we first walked in, which may explain why the carpet felt the way it did. Almost like the room needed a dehumidifier or something. I also never heard a vacuum running on our floor while housekeeping was servicing rooms, which made me wonder how thoroughly the carpets are cleaned between guests.
On a positive note, the complimentary breakfast exceeded expectations. There was a great variety of food, everything we tried was hot and fresh, and it was one of the better hotel breakfasts we've had. The women working in the breakfast area was working her butt off and had that place in order!! It stayed clean, well stocked and the trash wasn't running over. She's a huge asset to the hotel!
The hotel is in a safe area with plenty of convenient parking. While we enjoyed our stay overall, I do think the room was a little overpriced considering the cleanliness issues. If housekeeping focused more on deep cleaning the rooms and carpets, this would easily be an excellent place to stay because the staff and amenities were wonderful. Side note: The WiFi wasn't amazing. It worked, just not super fast.

I used to love this hotel The location was perfect for my halfway point from Florida to Massachusetts. Safe, clean, the Mexican restaurant in the parking lot is DELICIOUS and reasonable. And of course who wouldn't love a Cold Stone creamery in the parking lot. However I was a little disappointed this time around by the fact that they now charge to park in a parking lot they clearly own. It's not like this is a big city with a premium on parking, that just feels a little like gouging. I have stayed here two times within this last month both times the breakfast was a little barebones. The scrambled eggs were undercooked, there was no yogurt, and the biggest detriment I find to the breakfast is they have no cinnamon rolls. The last time I thought it was just a fluke and maybe I missed out on them, This time I asked the lady and she said they are no longer serving them. If you stay at Holiday inn's regularly which I do as a silver elite member You know these cinnamon rolls are a staple and a signature perk of staying at a Holiday inn. I feel like cutting corners and eliminating these is not a good business move I myself may decide to find another Holiday Inn along the way that still serves them instead as I want the full Holiday Inn experience not just the shell of one.
