  Excellent stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Leesburg - Historic District! The room was exactly as posted — very clean, spacious, and comfortable for our family. One of the nicest touches was the indoor pool, which the family really enjoyed during our stay. Melissa and Rio were both especially helpful and welcoming, and their customer service made the experience even better. Breakfast was enjoyable each morning, and the location was very convenient with close proximity to shopping, restaurants, and the airport. Parking also wasn’t bad at all, which made things easier. Overall, a very clean, comfortable, and convenient stay. Would definitely recommend!

  Very clean and well maintained. Wendy, the person who manages the breakfast area, does an amazing job at keeping it clean and well-stocked. Very impressive! The only complaint that keeps them from a five-star review is the AC system in the rooms. As a woman of a certain age I need a cool room at night to sleep. First night we were there the AC turned itself off in the middle of the night and the room heated up quickly making it very difficult to sleep. We tried our own fix on night two, only to have it happen again. Some research discovered that the unit would reset to 74° sometime around midnight or 1am. This would raise the temperature up immediately because the heat would kick on weto bring it to this temperature. The front desk has a fix for this you can request, but we went two nights without sleeping well beforehand. They were helpful once we asked them to fix, but this should not have been an issue anyone should need to deal with.

  We spent the weekend eating, shopping, and playing mahjong in between. They offered us the conference room if it wasn’t in use. We were very comfortable playing in the breakfast area and the lobby. The rooms were clean and comfortable with black out curtains and a thermostat to regulate the heat. The front desk staff was more than accommodating. They even let us split the bill upon checking out. Check out time was at 11 am instead of 10 am; which allowed us plenty of time to have breakfast. The breakfast bar was large, and there were two 24 hour coffee machines with ground coffee in the lobby. They also had snacks and food you could purchase. The hotel was centrally located only minutes from the little downtown area, and to the premium outlet mall. They had plenty of handicapped parking as well as a large parking lot. There were dollies available to use for loading luggage. The only downside is that the rooms weren’t sound proof so we were kept up by some noisy neighbors who were into celebrating St. Patrick’s Day weekend. Otherwise, we enjoyed our weekend very much.
