Let me start by saying this: I have scrolled through the handful of less-than-perfect reviews for this property, and I am genuinely perplexed. Did we stay at the same hotel? Because my experience here has been nothing short of flawless—repeatedly. I am not a casual traveler. I log over 200 nights a year in hotels, hold top-tier status in every major rewards program, have slept in Ritz-Carlton penthouses that cost more than my first car, and whispered breakfast orders to butlers in boutique hideaways charging $900 a night. And yet, when my work brings me to Leesburg, I bypass all of them and book this Best Western without a second thought—not hyperbole, but a deliberate, picky traveler’s choice. The value defies logic: immaculate rooms, plush beds, and a price that feels like a clerical error in an era of $18 smoothies and $40 resort fees. The location is perfect—minutes from historic downtown, vineyards, and winding back roads, yet tucked away quiet enough for a perfect night’s sleep. The staff are warm without being cloying; they remember you, anticipate needs, and handle late checkouts or forgotten chargers with a smile. The pool and patio are an unexpected oasis—glistening under string lights, comfortable furniture, serene enough to feel like a resort three times the price. And the FREE breakfast? Legitimate hot eggs, crispy bacon, make-your-own waffles, fresh fruit, and coffee that doesn’t taste like burnt regret—fuel that costs you nothing extra. I am a hard sell; I notice crooked frames and lumpy pillows, and I’ve written scathing reviews for hotels costing ten times this one. But this Best Western in Leesburg has earned my loyalty through quiet, consistent excellence. So yes, you can absolutely stay here with confidence—I do, and I am ruthlessly picky. Book it, lounge by that pool, eat that free waffle, and then wonder, as I do, why anyone would ever give this place anything less than five glowing stars. This is the hidden gem you’ve been searching for. Five stars. Full stop. Every time.
Modest, clean, not bad for the price. Nice room, cold AC. The staff seemed appropriately polite and helpful. The breakfast was not bad, especially for being complementary. The eggs and sausage were hot there were a lot of options. There were several options for lunch & dinner nearby. Walking distance but you would have to cross a larger road.
The fitness center did not have any weights. Just a few cardio machines. The pool had complementary towels set out. Only 15 minutes away from Dallas airport
After reading many of the negative reviews before my stay, I arrived at the Best Western Leesburg Hotel & Conference Center expecting a mediocre experience. Instead, what I found was one of the best values in Northern Virginia.
Many online reviews focus on isolated inconveniences, but they often ignore the bigger picture. This property is not trying to be a luxury resort charging luxury prices. It succeeds at something far more difficult: delivering consistent value, comfort, convenience, and hospitality in one of the most competitive hotel markets in the DMV.
The location alone is exceptional. You're minutes from historic downtown Leesburg, wineries, shopping, major business centers, and the Dulles corridor, making it an ideal base for both business and leisure travelers. The hotel offers amenities that many higher-priced competitors either charge extra for or don't provide at all, including breakfast, Wi-Fi, parking, fitness facilities, and conference space.
What stood out most was the staff. Great hotels are not defined by furniture or paint; they're defined by how people make you feel. Every interaction I had was professional, courteous, and genuinely welcoming. Problems are inevitable in hospitality. The true measure of a property is how it responds, and this team clearly cares about guest satisfaction.
Some reviewers seem to judge the hotel against unrealistic expectations rather than against its actual value proposition. No hotel that serves thousands of guests will have a flawless record. The question isn't whether a negative review exists; it's whether those reviews accurately represent the average guest experience. Based on my stay, they do not.
The property offers comfortable accommodations, practical amenities, a strategic location, and a level of service that exceeds what many travelers expect at this price point. It is easy to criticize from behind a keyboard. It is much harder to consistently deliver for travelers day after day. This hotel does exactly that.
If you're looking for the flashiest hotel in Virginia, keep searching. If you're looking for one of the smartest choices in the DMV—where value, convenience, and hospitality intersect—the Best Western Leesburg Hotel & Conference Center deserves serious consideration.
I would gladly stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Loudoun County.

Our stay at Best Western was absolutely exceptional from beginning to end. Traveling with my two-month-old son and my cousin could have been stressful, but the incredible staff made us feel welcomed, comfortable, and genuinely cared for throughout our entire visit.
The cleanliness of the property was outstanding. Every area of the hotel—from our room to the common spaces—was spotless, fresh, and well-maintained. It was especially reassuring to have such a clean environment while traveling with an infant.
The location was perfect and convenient, with easy access to everything we needed during our stay. Whether we were heading out to explore the area or simply returning to relax, the property was ideally situated.
One of the highlights of our stay was the wonderful breakfast. There was a great variety of fresh and delicious options each morning, making it easy to start our day on a positive note. The breakfast staff was friendly, attentive, and kept everything stocked and clean.
The amenities exceeded our expectations. The pool area was clean and inviting, the fitness center was well-equipped and maintained, and we were especially grateful that the hotel provided a Pack 'n Play for our baby. That thoughtful accommodation made traveling with our son so much easier and showed that Best Western truly cares about families.
What stood out most, however, was the staff. Every employee we encountered was professional, kind, and eager to help. Their hospitality transformed what could have been just another hotel stay into a memorable experience.
I highly recommend this Best Western to families, couples, and anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and welcoming place to stay. Thank you to the entire team for making our trip so enjoyable. We will definitely be returning, and we look forward to staying here again in the future!
Absolute Night and Day – The New Ownership Has Made This a Gem!
If you haven't stayed here recently, it’s time to take another look. I’ve stayed at several properties in the Leesburg area, and you can immediately feel the difference the new ownership and management have brought to this Best Western. The place is immaculate inside and out—you can practically smell the freshness the moment you walk through the lobby.
First off, the location is unbeatable. It’s right in the heart of everything you need in Leesburg and incredibly close to the Metro, making getting around stress-free.
The amenities completely exceeded my expectations for this price point:
The Pool & Gym: The in-ground pool area is super clean, well-maintained, and the perfect spot to unwind. The workout center actually has modern, functional equipment that's kept pristine.
The Breakfast: This isn't just a stale pastry and weak coffee setup. It’s a legitimate, hot, full breakfast with great options that save you time and cash before heading out for the day.
What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff. They are amazing—genuinely warm, attentive, and proud of the property. They went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed without being intrusive.
Clean, comfortable, highly convenient, and backed by a team that actually cares. Whether you’re here for business or family, do yourself a favor and book it. I’ll definitely be back!
