- JKJennifer KellarJun 25, 20265.0Very lovely place to spend a few days. This property exceeded expectations. Room was exceptional. View can’t be beat. Enjoyed the pool, onsite restaurants, waterside walking trail, and taking the Duffy Boat out in the creek. Nice coffee shop in town (The Local) within walking distance. Dog & Oyster is a great stop for wine and lunch. Merroir just over the bridge for oysters and other fresh seafood.

Kudos to the incredibly friendly and accommodating staff who strive to ensure a memorable getaway. The food was fabulous and we have high standards. Their own local lettuces were beautifully prepared and not over dressed. The shrimp cocktail and oysters were superb. My husband’s filet was high quality and perfectly prepared. Unfortunately we could not enjoy the bikes or nature trail (foot fracture). The views from room 219 were magical as was the view from the Adirondack chairs with Ospreys circling above.
