  Hotel shuttle just drove away drop passenger off at 2B but didn’t wait at 2G to pick customer up. The worst.

  Great Stay at the Crowne Plaza Dulles Airport We had a great experience at the Crowne Plaza Dulles Airport. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The location is extremely convenient to Dulles Airport and also makes a great home base if you’re visiting the surrounding Northern Virginia or Washington, D.C. area. Our room was comfortable and quiet, which made it easy to relax after a full day of sightseeing. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again. If you’re looking for a comfortable, convenient hotel near Dulles with great service, the Crowne Plaza is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!

  Only good thing about this place is the location. For a $200 plus room this is 3rd world country status. The outlets in the room are fire hazards waiting to happen. Loose and nothing stays in the sockets. Beds are extremely used and worn out. Almost broken. Water pressure is suspect. Depends on time of day you try and shower. And front desk doesn’t understand simple basic instructions when it comes to booking multiple rooms for other people. Language barriers definitely make it feel even more like 3rd world right here in the heart of our country. This being part of the IHG family is shocking. Id rather stay in a holiday inn express than this dump ever again. And this is after two visits in a week after traveling to Central America and back. Just awful standards. Oh and the self service checkout for snacks is constantly needing reset. The restaurant is ok. Not bad but not great. I dont recommend unless there is nothing else close by thats available. Great location. Mins from IAD. But thats the only positive. Stay at your own risk is all I can say. Place needs a total remodel including management and staff.

  Update 8/15: Wanted to update this review to state the the charge reversal finally went through for the full $232.30. My experience at the hotel was still deplorable but thanks IHG GUEST REWARDS/CORPORATE for resolving the issue. Update 8/13: I've checked my pending charges/debits and the reversal has dropped entirely. No reversal, no credit, nothing. It should not be this hard to obtain a $232 CC reversal when 40,000 points were debited from my account immediately. Buyers beware not just this hotel but IHG Corporate as well. Update 8/7: The charge reversal has now shown up on my card statements, still pending full processing but this is more progress than has shown in the past month. Update 8/6: I called again today to the number provided below, the hotel directly. Front desk briskly informed me they never charged me. Once again, I had to contact IHG Guest Relations. The second senior agent informed me I was given incorrect information and apologized for such. Since I booked with Points and Cash, the points were essentially "bought" so the points being refunded was technically a fefund. She directed me to the IHG Rewards dept who said this was a one time exception to reverse the point toal (deducted 40,000 points from my account) and refund me the cash I purchased with. I can only conclude that to be fair. This process is EXTREMELY cumbersome and inefficient but shouts to the senior agent from my call today, she was polite, informative and quick to give a resolution as well as the agent in the rewards dept. The points have already been deducted while I await my charge reversal. I will update once again if that happens. This in no way changes my deplorable view of the experience at this hotel but I find it important to showcase both sides. Update 8/4: While the hotel eventually restored the IHG points from the reservation, the cash portion of the refund still has not been returned. Since checking out, I've been repeatedly bounced between the hotel and IHG with no clear answers and no indication that the refund is actually being processed. What's most frustrating isn't just the missing refund—it's the lack of ownership. I've spent far too much time following up, especially when I requested communication via e-mail. A mistake can happen at any hotel. What matters is how it's handled afterward. In my experience, this property has failed to resolve a straightforward customer service issue despite multiple opportunities. Original Review: Horrible. There's a reason they have replied to every comment except the 1 star review below. Check my Google profile and see where I've given a bevy of businesses a glowing review. We had to cancel our booking after driving 6.5 hrs to get to VA due to feeling unsafe. We have an active case filed with corporate IHG which has yet to be followed up on. We are awaiting our FULL cash refund, though the points DID return to our account. Rude shuttle driver who yells at paying customers. Incompetent front desk and general management who aren't adept at handling situations, aren't interested in resolving issues and will lie to your face. No parking permit provided at check in yet yelled at by shuttle driver to move a van when I was clearly unloading and there were NO luggage carts available. Lied to by management that unloading is only 5 minutes when their SIGN states 10 minutes. Also no mention of parking fees when booking ( there are, $10/day). The hallways are 80 plus degrees and the AC barely keeps the room cool. Do NOT let the entrance fool you, this isn't a 4 star hotel as indicated on Google. Go back and look at the other reviews mentioning theft, rude shuttle, etc and heed my warning or not, BUYER BEWARE.
