  I recently stayed for a generous month at Candlewood Suites Washington-Dulles Herndon in the Dulles Airport area. I was very impressed with the overall quality level of the hotel, and I am choosing to stay here for another generous month because of this very positive impression. I found the rooms to be very apartment like, very clean, very comfortable, and nicely equipped with a full size kitchen, other than an oven. They even have fine china and high end cutlery to use as standard, and the room has a very comfortable bed and armchair. I also appreciate that the hotel is very quite! D.C. area hotels can be very noisy, but this hotel is a pleasant exception. As well, the neighborhood is very nice, very safe, and effectively an upscale office park by look and feel. If you are staying in the Dulles Airport area, whether it be for a night or thirty, I think that you would be very impressed with the overall quality of the hotel, and genuinely friendly service. The only things that I feel could be improved, are to provide some sort of free breakfast, and or some sort of shuttle service. They do provide free coffee however, 24/7, and it is excellent. Speaking of genuinely friendly service, I wanted to highlight Essam who works at the front desk, Laila who works in the back office, and Arnold who works in maintenance. Essam is very polite and cordial in a fashion that reminds me of very fine hotels that I have stayed at. He was very pleasant and efficient with checking me in, and made sure to ask me if my stay was going well at times. He even pointed out that after staying for thirty days, that I was eligible for a room tax refund! I really appreciated his courtesy, and if you happen to come across him during your stay, I think you will as well! Laila was likewise very polite, but I really appreciated come time to check out and to check back in, that she made sure that I could stay in the same room, and coordinated a maintenance request for me for the same day. She also made a special arrangement for me to come down later in the day, when it better suited me. This was simply a matter of convenience for me, but I really appreciated it that day! High end service to say the least! Lastly, I wanted to highlight Arnold, who works in maintenance. He came by exactly as scheduled, and was able to diagnose, and fix, a minor A.C. system leak in a timely fashion. He was also very friendly, and I enjoyed talking with him a bit while he was working. If you happen to need any maintenance during your stay, they have a prompt, friendly person who knows what he is doing! I highly recommend giving this hotel a try if you are staying in the area. I have been really impressed over my long term stay, and I think that you will be too. -John H.

  Établissement très correct ! Petit cuisine pratique avec micro-ondes, lave-vaisselle, énorme frigo, taque deux zone. Litière très correct et confortable. Il manque un coussin ferme ! Pas de petit déjeuner, mais coin café et distributeur assez complet. Magasin a 1,6km.

  We needed a place to stay for one night because our flight was canceled. The hotel staff was so friendly, they gave us toothbrushes and toothpaste. The coffee machine in the lobby made excellent coffee.
