  The service from the team was awesome, Lucy is an absolute star and we were so well treated. The only downside is the rooms are a little old and need renovating and the bed wasn’t that comfortable. We stayed for three weeks.

  I had originally left a more negative review but decided to delete it and give a more fair review, as I had said before there are a few things around the hotel that really showed the ages of this building, but they’ve done a really good job keeping it up-to-date and modernized. The rooms are comfortable clean and I really didn’t have any complaints as far as the rooms went. I did have a small issue regarding housekeeping scheduling, but the person I had spoke with, stopped me at the desk recently, and apologized and cleared up the situation. Originally, I wasn’t planning on coming back here, but I think I’ll give this place another chance next time I’m in town. Also, the staff have been friendly and helpful. There’s also tons of restaurants and grocery stores really close by. Plus free guest laundry.

  The good is that the location of this Candlewood is in an upscale area with every needed amenity in close proximity. Staff were friendly and helpful so no problem there whatsoever. Our room was definitely dated and in need of a refresh, however. It was clean and served its purpose but the shower stall, countertops, flooring, etc. were all well over a decade old and haven't kept pace with the vibrant nature of surrounding area. One bad thing is that there was a persistent marijuana smell in this hotel. I am not sure what can be done about it but it's not pleasant for those of us who don't smoke.

  The room was nice and the front desk lady was very sweet but we left in a hurry because we discovered bedbugs in our room. We immediately took all of our things to a laundry mat and put them in the dryer for hours on high. I pray they do not allow anyone in that room until the exterminator gets rid of the bedbugs. Room 316.
