  100$ deposit the front desk lady said. I said okay; id and card present. Than she said cash only for deposit, company policy! No atm. O.kay. t Kay Went across the street.

  We happened to be in town the same weekend as graduation so lodging choices were limited especially with a dog. We were able to get a 2nd floor room with 2 queen beds. The room was dated but seemed clean. The main issue was people in the room beside us coming outside to smoke hourly and with the a/c running it pulled all the smoke inside the room. There was no signs saying smoking prohibited on the outside walkway so we just dealt with it. My husband is very allergic to cigarette smoke so it was a miserable evening for him. When I checked out I asked the lady at the desk if they had a policy against people smoking right outside the rooms, she said since it is outside in public space they do not. So keep that in mind when you consider booking here. Also, the walls are very thin and we could hear the neighbors dog barking and their door slamming everytime they went out for their smoke. It's not a bad motel honestly but I myself would not stay here again given this experience

  Best Hotel in Fredericksburg, imo. I stay here every time I come to town. The rooms are clean, spacious, and updated. They have a nice outdoor pool and grill area and the free breakfast has lots of great options, healthy or indulgent. The staff is also friendly and professional. They do a lot to keep the place well maintained and they even just put in a fenced in dog park for guests with pets.

  If you're looking for a night stop driving on the 95 this is an amazing find. Priced significantly lower than neighboring hotels, and may appear basic from the outside but it is amazing where things count. Beds were super comfy, soft sheets, big refrigerator, great service. Breakfast is unique with real eggs, sausages, and fresh large variety fruits buffet. Even the coffee was very good. They are very dog friendly. We were so surprised - it looks very well managed and goes above and beyond

  This Best Western has been recently renovated and the best part, the rooms have hard flooring (no funky, nasty carpet!!) The hotel is basic, the pool was closed while I was there, I had the breakfast one day, and it was the usual hotel fare. Why three stars? Well, I arrived on Suday for a week long stay. On Monday, housekeeping came in and cleaned the room (but no more towels, made the bed, cleaned up the trash), on Tuesday, no one showed up, room was just as I left it that morning. On Wednesday morning, as I was leaving for my class, I stppped by the front desk and asked for more towels and the trash to be picked up. Lady said yes, unfortunately housekeeping NEVER brought the towels, never picked up the trash from the room. By Friday, I had no towels (luckily, I always travel with a washcloth and hand towel which I used), traa h was never picked up which meant there were 3 nights' worth if food trash in the room. By Thursday morning, I stopped asking for housekeeping to stop by. So while the room was awesome, the service was lacking.
