  I appreciate the responsiveness and communication of the hotel, and have amended my review to reflect this service. My initial review stated that some hotels have a dated feel the moment you walk in, and that this was one of them. While true, I hope this is something management addresses, as they've said they would. Check-in was still not great - the front desk experience felt transactional, and there wasn't much in the way of friendliness or hospitality...but hopefully this has been addressed. Finding my room was difficult based on third floor signage, but not the end of the world. Hopefully, signage is improved. The rooms themselves did feel outdated and lacked some conveniences travelers have come to expect, such as USB charging ports built into outlets or lamps. My room also had a noticeable cigarette smoke odor, but the AC was powerful and therefore covered it well. Some of these issues come with the territory of an aging hotel. I'm not trying to be overly harsh. But a 4.2-star rating set an expectation that this would be a very nice property. In my eyes, I'd rate this more of a 3.5.

  This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. From the minute you walk inside, you can tell the property needs serious attention. The lobby is extremely small, and as we walked toward our room, the carpet looked dark, old, and worn out. Unfortunately, it was already late at night, our reservation was prepaid, and changing hotels at that point was difficult, so we stayed. The second day was much worse. Water started coming through the ceiling, and there appeared to be mold on the ceiling as well. We took pictures and immediately spoke with the person working at the front desk. Her only response was, “Sorry.” I asked to speak with a manager and requested a full refund. I explained that this wasn’t a minor inconvenience—we had water coming through the ceiling and what appeared to be mold. We had pictures showing everything. Instead of taking the situation seriously, we were offered points. That was extremely disappointing. What bothered me most was the lack of concern. When a guest reports water leaking through a ceiling and possible mold, management should take it seriously and address the problem immediately. Based on my experience, I would not recommend staying at this hotel. Even if they offered me a free stay, I would not return.

  This was the best accommodation of my entire trip. It was clean, the staff were all friendly, and the location was perfect. I was so happy during my two-week stay; I was so satisfied that I won't even have to worry about where to stay when I visit the U.S. again next year. Thank you to everyone.

  The front desk is helpful and rooms are nice. On the other hand maintenance, house keeping, and accounting are terrible. My first stay here I had problems with payment. Not only was it resolved with terrible communication in regards how the bill payment was layed out, they threatened to kick me out the day of - 12pm. 2nd time maintenence left a mess in bathroom floor, housekeeping was supposed to come clean it in the morning. Did not come even after I called the front desk. Overall front desk is super nice and helpful. Rooms are great. If you have a problem, don't expect a resolution because every other service does not give two shits.
