Not at all as advertised, spoke to someone earlier in the day who informed us elevator was broken, asked if that would be a problem and I said yes as im disabled. Was told both my and my nieces would be moved downstairs, we'd still be beside each other- were both upstairs! My room appears clean enough but carpet it soaked ( am told thats normal from the AC) hah...my nieces room has hair everywhere, soap running down bathroom walls, curtain half up, half down- these people couldn't care less 🤣🤣..save your time and money and go across the street- cheaper, cleaner and better amenities!

I will start by saying there are worse hotels to stay in, but for an IHG, this was unacceptable. It looks from the outside like a brand new hotel, but it is essentially lipstick on a pig. The only positive thing was check in was smooth and quick. It all went downhill afterwards.
The elevator was out of service for the three days we were there. We now have to lug suitcases and belongings up and down the stairs.
TV worked some of the time. It kept coming up with error messages and shutting down.
The mini fridge was filthy and smelled like hot garbage. There was gross brown stuff all inside and I refused to put any belongings inside.
All trash cans just had a liner resting inside, but no one wanted to actually place them.
When I pulled back the comforter, hairs were all over the sheets. I couldn’t tell if the sheets had even been replaced.
The AC was spotty and made a ton of noise, but did keep the room cool.
The shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom were completely empty.
When I lifted up the toilet seat, there were urine spots showing the toilet was not cleaned.
The sink was clogged and would fill up with water when washing hands. When it finally drains, all the dirt is left on the sides of the sink.
The stairwells were stinky and had stains all over the carpet.
One of my children forgot a toothbrush, so I thought this was a chance to redeem themselves - nope! All out of toothbrushes.
Just a miserable experience. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told she doesn’t come to the hotel very often and I could email my concerns. Nothing was done to alleviate my frustration, I was given a business card.
Hopefully they go out of business soon and sell to someone who cares about running a better facility.
We are season ticket holders and have stayed at all hotels in this area - even before when it was à la Quinta inn.
Stay anywhere other than this location!!!

I really wanted to love this hotel, but the cleanliness issues were hard to overlook.
There were beads, crumbs, and other debris on the floor in our room, and we even found a bottle underneath the air-conditioning unit. It honestly made me question how thoroughly the room was cleaned before we arrived. On the first floor near the lobby, there also appears to be an area undergoing renovation, with what looked like concrete dust all over the hallway floor.
The breakfast was okay, but nothing special.
The biggest positive is definitely the location — being directly across from Kings Dominion is extremely convenient. The hotel has a nice overall concept, but housekeeping and cleanliness need significant improvement.

My stay was quiet, and my room was clean, but the hallways and bathroom weren't. My bathroom had hair on the floor and in the shower from previous guests, and no body wash. The hallways on the 3rd has little bit of floor trash on the floor like it was ignored. Other than that, the staff was super helpful. I needed a room change because mine was being remodeled, and I got a different room with no issues.
The room is dirty, the carpet is full of stains; it seems they were never shampooed. We rented 3 rooms, all rooms and the walkway all are in same situation.
In 1 room the TV doesn't have a remote to use, in other one it was not even connected; then what is the purpose of having a TV.
The Shampoo, Conditioner, and Body lotion, were all hooked to the wall. When the pumps were not working, we couldn't even take the lid off and use them, as they were hooked on the top. They just put a Shower Gel bottle on the side of the tub, and we had to manage just with that.
Kids were walking from one room to their other room late at night, and took picture of a Cockroach in the walkway.
The elevator was not working, and we had to walk to the 3rd floor (this is the only one thing they called and informed us the night before).
The smoke detector in our room was wrapped in tape, which is a major violation.
The kids were playing games to identify issues in each of their rooms. That itself proves the pitty state of the hotel. Never ever coming to this hotel.
