  Hotel room doors are not sound proof. Doors shut loud and you hear everything outside as if the door is open. Especially don't get a room across from the elevator.

  Matt was an absolute sweetheart when my husband was staying here on a work trip. My husband became extremely ill during his stay, and I had to have medication delivered to the hotel through Uber Eats. I called the front desk to give them a heads up, and Matt was incredibly kind and understanding. He made sure the medication was kept in a safe place until my husband was able to make it to the front desk, and he acted quickly knowing how urgent the situation was. In a stressful moment, Matt's compassion and willingness to help made all the difference. It's clear he genuinely cares about the guests, and his exceptional customer service deserves to be recognized. Thank you, Matt, for going above and beyond—we truly appreciate your kindness and hope the hotel knows what a valuable employee they have.

  The 2nd floor smelled moldy and musty and our room was even worse. On top of the mold smell the AC just made the room more humid. They supposedly did something when to the AC when I told them it was too humid and musty but did nothing about the moldy smell. Their breakfast is definitely not up to normal HIE standards, very inconsistent. Asked about hard boiled eggs, just told nope. Asked about bagels and told no they are frozen. I would not recommend this location unless you want the smell of a 12th century English castle smell 🤢🤮😷.

  Out of all the hotels we’ve stayed in over the years this is definitely number 1. The entire staff is amazing and friendly. The hotel is extremely clean. The breakfast was so good. I highly recommend this one.

  Horrible experience from the moment I walked in. I did not feel welcomed or greeted appropriately by the staff. Check-in was at 3 PM, but I arrived around 5 PM and my room still was not ready. I was told they were behind because of laundry delays and a large group that checked in earlier, and that it would only be another 5 minutes. That turned into over an hour of waiting. I was in town for my father’s memorial and ended up being late because I couldn’t get into my room. To make matters worse, there was no manager available on the weekend to address my concerns, and I had to call customer service to file a complaint. Once I finally got into the room, the shower drained extremely slowly, which was another disappointment. I also requested a late checkout since the hotel delayed my check-in so significantly, but even that became a hassle. I understand that unexpected issues happen, but the lack of communication, poor customer service, and unwillingness to make things right made this an incredibly frustrating experience. Being late to my father’s memorial because the hotel failed to have my room ready is something I won’t forget. I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend this hotel to others.
