  I got to say even with problems that arrived during my 5 day stay Mark, Angelina and Bradley were on top of it. They all worked together to resolve the problems in a quickly manner and made me & my husband feel like family. Hospitality at its finest. Now they may be in the middle of updating things throughout the hotel....but I was thoroughly pleased with this establishment. Great location, comfy beds andclean rioms. Wonderful places to eat. All around a beautiful place. Everyone was so nice. Definitely my permanent place to stay when I come to Ashland. Special shout out to Bradley. You really are the glue that holds this place together. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

  Dated hotel. However, clean and comfortable. I stayed here earlier this month on the way back home from South Carolina. The housekeeping is good here. However, I noticed this hotel was very understaffed. There was only one girl running the whole place when I checked in. She was still very nice and professional. In the morning, there was another poor girl handling a crazy busy breakfast rush by herself and then did a lot of maid service afterward. I know that's all part of the job, but she looked overwhelmed without help. I am pointing this out for the management so the hotel staff doesn't burn out. The staff we interacted with were very friendly. If you are looking for a modern hotel, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a reliable clean hotel with a decent breakfast in the morning like I did, this hotel will be perfectly fine for you. For a person like me, I would stay here again. I wish there was a 3.5 or a 3.8 option on Google. This would be a more realistic rating from me. But I am rating this hotel in the "good" category on Google maps.

  Based on other reviews you can already tell. But yea, room was ok, thats about it, still felt dingy with everything aging and broken lights. Bathroom was clean-ish. WiFi was pretty bad, around 2-3 mbps download. One elevator was broken, a door to the back exit was broken so anyone can enter the hotel, hot tub wasn't working, and pool was dirty. The shade curtain in our room was broke so we only had max sunlight (no privacy) or full darkness. Had 4 people and there were only towels for 3, we asked and they said they're all out. Breakfast was a solid 3/10, especially because of what was promised. No pancakes(broken), no waffles, no cinnamon rolls. Juice machine had a weird film on all the drinks and woman said they needed to get it fixed. Was really just stale biscuits, breads/toaster, cereal, scrambled eggs, sausage, oatmeal and apples. Overall 100% won't stay here again, just not worth it.

  Very old and hasn’t been updated. Lots of maintenance issues, broken mirror, dirty tub, and the pool was discolored and the pool room smelled bad. Called ahead of letting the kids swim to ask if they’ve maintenance and checked chemical levels and they assured me all was good. The next day there was a sign that the pool was closed until further notice. I usually don’t leave reviews, but I would not have expected this from a holiday inn, this hotel was comparable to a cheap motel, not a typical holiday inn express.

  Stay away. 1. No room service 2. Outlets in the rooms don't work 3. TV wasn't working when I arrived 4. Basic direct TV, so not much to watch for kids 5. Breakfast is terrible. Hot food is only diced potatoes. No eggs, no cinnamon rolls, no pancakes. 6. They have a pancake maker just for fun but never use it. 7. They don't have whole milk. 8. They don't have forks to eat with 9. They don't have napkins. 10. Walmart is 1 minute away but the manager guy is too lazy to just go pick up some forks. How can people eat without forks? We're eating food with a butter knife. 11. For towels we have to go downstairs to the front desk every night to ask for them. 12. Pool was overflowing, so little kids have to be careful even on the shallow side. 13. Pool filter seemed like it wasn't working well. Water looked unfiltered. 14. Staff is actually really nice and friendly, so nothing aimed at them. This is on the manager.
