  A ok hotel to stay the night, the bedding was comfortable. But the age and look of the hotel inside needs some work, old locks, rusted lamps and shower heads, old air conditioning with little options as in what the temperature is set too. The front desk staff were great thou both at check in and check out, but as for the employees working housekeeping and maintenance not very friendly. Almost got ran into by a worker pushing a trash can down the hall (she didn’t say a word). Overall, ok for a night. But look somewhere else for longer term.

  It was close to Kings Dominion and had a good breakfast but I was seriously disappointed in the state of our rooms. There were rips in the comforter, our carpet was falling apart and the showers were stained. The TV didn't work properly and kept getting static. For $150+ a night, I was massively disappointed. I don't recommend.

  We just arrived today and they only had a handicap room avail on the second floor..the room smells pretty bad and the sink in the bathroom was dirty. We were so tired from driving 10 hrs that we didnt even complaint since is only for one night, but the Room looks like it needs a reno. The bed and sheets are clean.

  I got to say even with problems that arrived during my 5 day stay Mark, Angelina and Bradley were on top of it. They all worked together to resolve the problems in a quickly manner and made me & my husband feel like family. Hospitality at its finest. Now they may be in the middle of updating things throughout the hotel....but I was thoroughly pleased with this establishment. Great location, comfy beds andclean rioms. Wonderful places to eat. All around a beautiful place. Everyone was so nice. Definitely my permanent place to stay when I come to Ashland. Special shout out to Bradley. You really are the glue that holds this place together. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

  Dated hotel. However, clean and comfortable. I stayed here earlier this month on the way back home from South Carolina. The housekeeping is good here. However, I noticed this hotel was very understaffed. There was only one girl running the whole place when I checked in. She was still very nice and professional. In the morning, there was another poor girl handling a crazy busy breakfast rush by herself and then did a lot of maid service afterward. I know that's all part of the job, but she looked overwhelmed without help. I am pointing this out for the management so the hotel staff doesn't burn out. The staff we interacted with were very friendly. If you are looking for a modern hotel, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a reliable clean hotel with a decent breakfast in the morning like I did, this hotel will be perfectly fine for you. For a person like me, I would stay here again. I wish there was a 3.5 or a 3.8 option on Google. This would be a more realistic rating from me. But I am rating this hotel in the "good" category on Google maps.
