Rooms are nice and so is ther service but they dont have any cash for cash back. Also the washer and dryer didn't work when I first used them and some of my clothes didn't wash

Yeah. Stay somewhere else. From the time I checked in, so much was wrong with my room, there was a tech in here for 45 minutes. The towels come with other peoples hair, the carpets are filthy, everything is in disrepair, peeling paint, just gross. Refused to put me in another room. This is ridiculous. I am a Gold Elite IHG Member. This is so disappointing.

Good location, right off a convenient highway, yet close to restaurants, a grocery store, a movie multiplex, and more. Price is reasonable and the room was clean enough to make me feel good about having selected this hotel. Front desk man was polite and helpful, and I would return to this establish without hesitation.

I’ll never come to this Holiday Inn again. I was scheduled to stay for a week but only stayed for two nights. The DC Army National Guard was also staying and they were loud! Don’t get me wrong, I adore our military but they treat a hotel like a college dormitory with loud music and noise—unacceptable. I asked management to ask them lower the noise and they did not do anything. If the military stay there do not stay there.

I am typically in Alexandria every other week and this week, all my usual Marriott properties were sold out and this was the ONLY hotel available that had a corporate rate in all of the Alexandria/DC area. The hotel is in a good location but is VERY dated, the carpeting is soiled in the rooms and hallways, elevator is very OLD and is tempermental, ice machine on the floor did not work, outlet in bathroom did not work, outlets on lamps did not work, there are no connections available for direct charging for phones, laptops etc, not even on the desk. There was a large 32+ gallon trash can sitting in the hallway where guest threw cans, food, etc. There was no complimentary bottles of water or real glasses to use to drink. The bed was comfortable, I must say, and I expected it to be noisy but it was mostly quiet. Staff is very nice but I would not stay here again when there are very nice, hotels nearby.
