  We booked two rooms with kitchens on July 17th for our stay on 9-27-26 leaving on 10-1-26. Upon arrival the rooms looked nothing like they did online, which was a bit disappointing. We noticed the deadbolt in room 217 was broken off completely, we proceeded to unpack and from 2:30pm to 9:40pm all we heard from the room above us was running back and forth constantly, the sounds of jumping off of furniture, followed by the sound of moving and scooting furniture. The ceiling lights in our room and the glass cabinets were rattling like crazy; we couldn’t even take a nap it was so loud or even hear the TV. After we were settled, we got a text message asking us how we are liking our rooms, and we told them the issues and we got no reply. So, we went downstairs and told the person on night shift about all the issues and she shrugged and said there was nothing she could do until 10pm. She also told us the maintenance guy left and would be back in the morning to fix our deadbolt. The next day we waited around until 3:30pm and the maintenance guy did not show up, we were all starving so we went down to find a place to eat only for her to tell us he was there. I had expensive medical equipment in my room that was not mine that I was responsible for and told the girl I did not want anyone in that room unless one of us was in there. So, the deadbolt went unfixed our entire stay, and my daughter had to makeshift our own lock for our door with a footstool and a spatula. The toilet ran all night and barely flushed half the time, and the noise started up again at 6:30am until they checked out. We took a video of the sound and tried to complain again, but the guy downstairs didn’t even want to listen to it. I told him I felt I needed a refund for the first day since the sound was so unbearable in both rooms and I was not in good health, but I was not given one.

  Location....yikes. But, if you don't wander around past the hotel, you're fine. The strung out people on the sidewalk smoking crack is why I say don't venture for a walk past the hotel. Very convenient to the Maverick Center. Decent restaurants within 5 minute drive

  Would be a 5 star post if it wasn't for the rooms ac not working can't sleep when it get hot. Messed with the thermostat found out. It's motion sensor so it just shuts off but could not get it to turn back on 1 night it worked 2 night stopped didn't think much of it but this third night its like unbearable have it set to 68f and the room temp is at 79f. Definitely will never come back because of this writing this review at 5 in the morning before I leave the hotel is how bad it is. The amount of money I spent for 3 nights i should have full control over the temperature of the room not happy at all one thing to ruin it bad. Sep 21 Big two room spilt

  September 16th 2026 spend a night here on my 8th visit to my Orthopedic Foot & Medicine with doctor visit. Came here with my transport driver # 219. Also another UNHS transport driver is here #220. Tomorrow is check out at 9:10am & off to my appointment at 10:10am by Foot Hills Dr. After that start heading home 5-6hrs drive. All is good, comfy beds, & nicely small kitchen, utensils & supplies.

  Honesty is the mark of a truly great hotel, and this weekend, the Satybridge suites in Salt lake City was honest even though it meant needing to cancel my reservation and refund my money! When we arrived at the hotel, everything was clean and the desk clerk was helpful and friendly. At some point in the check in process she mentioned that the hotel is now a pet-friendly hotel. I informed her that I could not stay in a room with pet hair due as I get immediate asthma reactions that last for a month. She gave us our room key and said "go check out the room and if you feel uncomfortable at all, come back down and I'll cancel the reservation". The room was super clean, but I did see pet hair in one of the corners. She cancelled our reservation and was super nice about it too!
