    They charge $8 a day for parking. Right next to freeway, unless you have the AC on for white noise you will hear all the noise from outside. Full hot breakfast which was ok. Rooms seemed pretty clean to me. Comfortable beds. They provide soap, shampoo, lotion. Staff was friendly.

    Spacious clean room. Front desk and maintenance crew was great. My remote didn't work. Front desk got maintenance man to bring me a new one. He must have been on a fancy date. He showed up in a suit. Two stars for location due to freeway noise. I have stayed here other occasions in rooms that didn't face the freeway. Never noticed the noise. If you stay here make sure you don't have a freeway room.

    Had to wait for one hour for airport shuttle to pick us up. Shuttle to the hotel didn’t have Holiday Inn sign. There are two holiday Inns in this area, west and east. Shuttle driver knew we were going to holiday inn. He left us before we could confirm which one it was for us. We had to wait for another 45 min for the next shuttle. We complained to the hotel and they gave us a discount for the stay.

    Watch out for the surprise parking ($8+tax) and airport transfer fee ($5.99+tax) which will not be disclosed to you when you book/check-in and will apply whether you park and/or use the airport shuttle or not, regardless you'll see them on your final bill. I'm very frustrated to see these charges because the stay was otherwise quite good, clean, quiet and modern room, great service (minus no communication of fees), and close proximity to restaurants etc.

    My husband and I stayed here back in the fall as we traveled thru SLC. At that time renovations were under way and the staff did a great job placing us in a quiet spot and our stay was very comfortable. Fast forward to this past week, mid-July, and we stayed with a 26 foot Uhaul, with a trailer towing a car behind it. Plus, a third vehicle! We were in and out moving into a local apartment for 3 days. We were always greeted with a hello and smile. Our room was quiet and spotless and breakfast was fine. A perfect place to stay in SLC. Thank you!
