  Overall, this hotel is fine. The one surprisingly good thing was that the shower actually drained so I wasn't standing in a pool of water the whole time (one of my biggest annoyances at most hotels). Unfortunately, we had a couple issues with our stay. 1. The kitchen was under construction which meant the hot breakfast was not available. Breakfast was one of the deciding factors when picking our hotel because we didn't want to have to leave the hotel to get a hot breakfast. I mentioned this at check-in (when we could see the construction mess in the kitchen) and asked if we could get a partial refund for it. The desk attendant said she would note it on my account for a manager to review. When I called to ask about an unexpected charge on my card (see below), I was told there was no note on my account. 2. We were wrongly charged for the "airport transfer" which I specifically told the desk attendant we didn't need when we checked in. Luckily we reconcile ever transaction on our bank accounts and caught it.

  My only complaint is the housekeeping. They do a half job and they don't replenish all your clean towels. I shouldn't have to go to the front desk every night to get towels that's supposed to be in my room.

  I’d like to give a special shout-out to the front desk staff, Spanky, who left us with a wonderful final impression of our stay. We had booked a red-eye flight back to Florida on the 12th of June. After spending the day visiting the Natural History Museum, we returned to the hotel to pick up our luggage and ordered some food. Spanky graciously allowed us to use an ad hoc dining room, providing us with a comfortable place to relax and enjoy our meal while waiting for the shuttle to take us to the airport. Thank you, Spanky, for your kindness and hospitality. You made the last few hours of our trip especially pleasant and memorable!

  We had a pleasant stay overall. If you’re planning to use the airport shuttle, be sure to call the front desk when you arrive. They will send the shuttle to pick you up, but it may not have a Holiday Inn logo on it. In our case, the shuttle was branded as La Quinta, and we almost missed it because we weren’t expecting that. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable, just as we’ve come to expect from Holiday Inn. Breakfast was standard Holiday Inn fare and similar to what you’ll find at other locations. One thing to note is that this appears to be an older hotel that has been remodeled into a Holiday Inn. During our stay, some renovation work was still in progress. Despite that, the hotel was comfortable and met our needs.

  It’s not Hotels fault but try to avoid rooms facing highway. Ongoing heavy road construction throughout the night. 6/9/26
