  I had a great, enjoyable, and relaxing stay at this Holiday Inn Express! The hotel atmosphere is very clean, and the service is good, helpful, and efficient. I was glad to be able to check in early, and enjoyed the view of my hotel room. The bed is comfortable and liked the quality of the pillows, and was able to get a good night's sleep. The pool and hot tub were nice additions to the hotel along with the morning breakfast. The breakfast foods were good, but please improve the quality of the coffee. Thank you Holiday Inn Express for a great visit to Salt Lake City!

  Very nice hotel, clean and organized. The room was big and new. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever eaten in this kind of hotel, especially the selection of bread. Unfortunately, I didn’t join IHG One Rewards to earn points for this stay, but I’ll definitely book with this company again.

  I always stay at this hotel when I visit Salt Lake City. Everything is a 0-15 minute walk away. Perfect location to walk to City Creek or any breakfast-lunch-dinner places. The staff is always amazing. I especially want to give a shout out to Chavonne Thompson the front office manager, she was extremely helpful and had such a great attitude. We had a room mixup (due to the app we used to book) and she took care of it immediately and made sure we were comfortable. The room was clean and comfortable.

  Wow, this place really blew me away! Right from the moment we walked in, the two ladies at the front desk were super nice and helpful with recommendations for dinner in the area. Our room was clean and close to the elevator, and the hotel is within walking distance of a lot of stuff downtown. Lastly, the breakfast was delicious and the selection was varied. If I am ever back in Salt Lake I will definitely be staying here!

  Stayed for one night here, and was genuinely met with standard hotel fare as when does when staying at mainline hotel chains, which isn't negative at all. When I've stayed at other chains, I am typically met with the same canter/attitude/professionalism. Nothing to be blown away about but also nothing to be frustrated about... but I do have a few pointers.... Upon arrival, they have you check in with the front desk attendants to sign any remaining paperwork and that you acknowledge their "deposit". I was honestly kind of left questioning why I even had to do this due to so many other hotels within IHG that offer digital check-in, avoiding the front desk mess and making check-in seamless. I also questioned why on earth this hotel needs a deposit? Let alone a $75 deposit which was a quarter of what I paid for one night, taxes included. Anyways, upon initial check-in, I was met with the gal who seemed very annoyed with her job, workplace, and having to deal with people...which I get it, dealing with people all day long can't be the most fun thing in the world, I would know. After check-in, we ventured up to our room and was met with a pleasant view on the top floor looking south. I have no complaints here. A/C worked great, especially trying to battle the hot temps outside, water pressure was decent enough and we never questioned if we would have hot water. My only pointer is the TVs need updating. (and we somehow had ants in our room on the 12th floor...?) My main letdown was the pool. It so frigid cold. I booked this hotel because it was at a decent price and had a pool. Only to get down to the pool, and find out it's ice cold. I can expect an outdoor pool being a tad cooler due to the heat... but cmon, this is an indoor pool, at least let it be at a bearable temp. TLDR; Would I stay here again? Sure. The price per night was decent and the beds were comfortable enough. I don't have any major complaints at all. Would I look at other hotels? Yes. I can't get behind the hotel living in the stone age. Cmon... its the 21st Century and many other hotels have digital check-in/out and have a decently updated TV...
