The museum is in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah, across from the west gates of Temple Square. Admission is free.

- MMM3 days ago5.0im not lds but im a descendant of a certain treasure hunter from upstate new york and had a blast at this place :3 sonja the museum docent from kansas city is awesome. unless you have an interest in lds history specifically this probably wont be your thing but i highly recommend it if you have overlapping ancestry and/or an interest in this topic. yes its skewed towards a religious pov however that is to be expected. i went here more or less out of an objective desire to learn about family history stuff. it was awesome seeing all of the stuff that once belonged to my family 10/10 one of the coolest museums ive ever visited
