A quiet little spot with the grave of the great Brigham Young. The site is tucked away and might be easy to miss. It is a short walk over here from Temple Square.

Beautiful little cemetery and quiet park a block east of the salt lake temple with graves of prophet Brigham Young and several of his family members and the grave of Eliza R Snow. William Clayton memorial. Recently renovated with new cement walk way, stairs and ground improvements. Some beautiful bronze statues and plaques. Perfect stop before heading up to the salt lake city cemetery to find the graves of the other LDS church prophets. ( There are maps at the sextants house to find all prominent people buried there!) Worth the trip!!

Update: As of Oct 24, 2022, the Cemetary has been renovated and rededicated. I assume it is accessible again. Looks beautiful in the photos. Little pocket park with benches, trees, and ornamental fence surrounding this historic burial ground. Brigham Young was buried here, along with some of his family. Here's hoping Zion will be redeemed soon, so we can meet the man again in the flesh—a resurrected being. Earlier review: As of January 2022, the park is fenced off and undergoing renovation. Not able to enter or access statues, grave markers, etc.

Very hidden, but a very private and touching memorial garden. If you are going to Temple Square, you should really walk to this place as well.
