My stay over all was okay. My main concern that needs to be addressed is when I checked in yesterday evening. The lady working the desk checked me in and told me there was a $50 “incidentals” charge. Today when I checked out, I brought that up to the girl working the front desk, which was someone different. She had absolutely no clue about what I was talking about. Clearly there is some sort of scam happening. Be aware of this when booking with this hotel.
Excellent location, nice, clean rooms, loved it, only problem is the AC could blow air a little better, we had ours on high but the air flow was blowing out low! Other than that, the service, room, location and breakfast was GOOOD!!! Thank you for making our stop well worth it. We will stay here again when we're up this way again.

For the first time in my life I found a roach in my hotel room. There were roaches running around the parking lot, so I made sure all my things were zipped and off the floor. Thank God, because the next morning we found a roach in the middle of our room. Breakfast was not good. And house keeping was weird. We were told housekeeping only came by request. We like to sleep in, but didn't put out our do not disturb sign because housekeeping isn't supposed to come by. The morning of check out I was woken up to housekeeping banging on our door. When I opened the door she said she was just checking to see if we had left yet. Very annoying. Lastly, there was mold on the bathroom ceiling.

Location, location, location! My boys went golfing and I didn't bother dropping them off to keep the vehicle because I could literally walk everywhere I needed - food, gift shops, gas station, trade shop, drugstore, everywhere. It is CENTRAL downtown Moab. It is a motel, but it is clean; it is dated but for the price you can't beat it, and it was a nice change from the horrible airbnb we checked out of. I didn't notice being able to hear anyone in the neighboring rooms, which was nice, and the area is surprisingly quiet at night, despite their being a bar just a couple doors down. The breakfast was your run of the mill hotel breakfast: "hot" food (eggs, sausage, etc.), cereal, coffee, fruit, etc., nothing to write home about but it does the job before you head out to explore Moab. If you are big on having your room cleaned every day, you have to request it, but that was a bonus for us since we were only there a couple of days and didn't need housekeeping. The beds were comfy and the room stayed cool despite temps reaching almost 100 degrees. The staff was very nice too. No hidden fees and easy check out. My ONLY complaint was housekeeping banging on the door at 9:30a on our checkout day when checkout wasn't until 11a, but I get it :) they also have a cute pool outside the rooms and a gym, but we didn't utilize either one.
Walked in to Best Western Plus Greenwell Inn because my wife all of sudden didn't feel well and needed a place to cool down. Monique was behind the counter and saw we were overcome with the heat and I asked her if my wife could use the lady's room to splash some water on her face. Monique instantly told her where she could find the restroom. As I stood in the lobby Monique and I spoke freely. She was so accommodating, listening to my story of our recent travels. Our conversation was warm and acknowledging of our mutual humanity. We left her at the counter restored! If she is the first face you encounter after a long hot drive to Moab, you are not only in good hands with Monique, you are in a good place for the evening. A place that cares. Thank you Best Western Greenwell Inn for hiring her! She saved us! And we SAVED your card for our return trip! We'll definitely be back!
