  A large group of us, 12, recently stayed at Sand Hollow Resort and had mixed experiences. The resort check-in staff themselves were very helpful and accommodating, but the golf operation was a completely different story. The course was in average condition, which was disappointing, but the service from the golf staff was unacceptable. They mishandled the return shipping of our clubs through Ship Sticks. Even after Ship Sticks sent updated labels, the staff refused to print and attach them. As a result, some of our clubs shipped a day late and others still haven’t shipped at all. When I called the pro shop for clarification, I received excuses — including the claim that FedEx “doesn’t come every day,” which simply isn’t true. When I pointed that out, there was no accountability or effort to resolve the issue. The resort side was great, but the golf staff needs serious improvement in professionalism and customer service. I would not recommend this golf course unless something changes.

  We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Sand Hollow Resort! The Cozy Clubhouse was the perfect home base for our 3-day golf getaway for four golfers. The location was ideal, with such easy proximity to the course, and the home itself was comfortable, clean, and exactly what we were looking for. The entire process was incredibly smooth and easy from start to finish. A special thank you to Kaycee, who went above and beyond to make our trip a success. She took the time to understand what we were looking for and helped us find an ideal location that fit our needs perfectly. She was a pleasure to work with and made the whole experience even better. We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our golf getaway and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

  Location is amazing. Rooms are old and not updated. Sink didn't drain, floorboards falling apart, all for 140 dollars a night. Pillows are flat and thin. Also temperature instructions said you can't raise the temperature below 72 degrees (keep in mind it was 110 outside) or you'll be charged if it malfunctions.

  We had a nice stay at the Sand Hollow resort! We were in building 7 on the bottom floor with a view of the golf course, which was beautiful. The room had a mini fridge, microwave, ice maker, keurig, towels in the bathroom, and small toiletries for our use. Everything was super clean and set up nicely. The bed was so uncomfortable (very soft) and the provided blanket was definitely not thick enough. Our family also had rooms in building 7 and building 6 and shared similar experiences about their rooms! The mini split AC was only in the main bedroom area, and worked pretty well but with that being said, the entryway and bathroom didn’t get a ton of cool air. There are 3 pools on site, but the one in front of our building was closed the whole time we were there. The other two pools were pretty nice and mostly clean barring some sand, leaves and bugs that blew in with the nightly monsoon weather. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here but wish for more comfortable beds next time! The location is absolutely incredible - the views all around the resort are stunning. It is located directly across from the main entrance to sand hollow state park and Mad Moose rentals are a quick 30 second drive away which was super convenient for us!

  Fun place to stay. Really well kept course and the photos don’t do this course any justice. Feels like you’re playing on Mars. The carts are the nicest I’ve ever seen as well. Starter was super friendly and helpful too.
