Tips: * Leave your luggage in vehicle at check-in. ‘Motel’ style layout, where you drive to your door. * Request top/2nd floor, as old buildings with VERY creaky floors. (We had hikers above us who were up walking, walking, walking at 4am.) * Restaurant breakfast buffet is great! Lunch and dinner buffets are ‘average’. If you want quantity of food, there’s a wide variety. If you want quality of food, order off the menu. * They have a separate stand-alone Laundromat facility available. (We didn’t use.) The location is excellent for quick access to Bryce Canyon. Staff are attentive. Hotel lobby, restaurant and even attached large gift shop/grocery are very nice! I’d stay here again if in the area.

Very disappointed with this Best Western. Rooms are outdated, put us on 2nd floor with no luggage carts available to get luggage up to our room. Was told there is an elevator, like that is acceptable. Bathroom fan was very loud, while showering the bottom of the tub creaked every time I moved. Shower pan not installed correctly. Pillows on bed are the size of a throw pillow. We didn't bother trying the restaurant, as it was too crowded and extremely hot in the waiting area. Would not recommend.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. - The rooms stink. It is a cross between wet dog, horse poop and pine needles. I tried to move to a different room but that one was also gross. this alone makes it not worth the stop but it gets worse. - The rooms are old and not well maintained. So near the door (which has a gap) and window the room is freezing and in the second queen on the inside of the room it is blazing hot. - The shower water temp fluctuates wildly from freezing to burning. you have to be quick or take a bath. - the walls are so thin that as the guests in the rooms next to me used the toilet or shower it was so loud as to wake me up and keep me from sleep. Conversations go right through the wall. there is absolutely no insulation between rooms. - The salad bar is disgusting. Fruits and vegetables are clearly not washed. For example, the mushrooms still have the poop dirt they are grown in on them. Some of tomoatoes were old and starting to rot. everything is from a can, including the soup. Definitely not worth the money. stay elsewhere, this place is horrible

We stayed at Ruby's Inn in Bryce City in April 2026. The rooms were large and accommodating with fridge, microwave and coffee maker, although dated decor. Connected to the main building is a large gift shop/convenience store, and a full service restaurant. The main building has an indoor swimming pool and hot tub that we did not use as it is not convenient if you are in one of the multiple single-story motel style buildings away from the main building. The complimentary breakfast was an excellent buffet that changed daily and our waiter David was so attentive and friendly. The gift shop was reasonably priced with great selection. The inn also has a general store with decent selection. The inn is conveniently located just a few minutes from Bryce Canyon National Park. It made it extremely easy to visit the park and return back to the inn for meals and then return to the park for sunset for stargazing. The inn itself has a very historic tie to the park and was opened in the early 1900s. I highly recommend this establishment. Keep in mind that park attendance is seasonal and much of the Bryce City attractions do not open until mid to late May. We did have a slow draining issue with our shower tub and when we called the front desk about the issue, we were told to call back the next morning. We also noticed that one of the front desk lady was not friendly towards a tour guide who was trying to check in for his large group of tourists. We felt the front desk staff can use more training and be more professional and courteous towards customers. The slow draining issue was addressed quickly once we insisted the problem gets reported to the maintenance crew. Overall we had a pleasant stay despite the issue with the drain and front desk personnel.
