If I could give this hotel zero stars, I would. Any positive aspects of our stay were completely overshadowed by our experience with the management and front desk staff.
I want to be clear that I am not saying every employee here is a problem. However, the two staff members we personally dealt with—the front desk employee with the “you see my darkness” tattoo on her arm and the male manager—were incredibly unprofessional, inconsiderate, and handled situations very poorly.
If you are traveling with children, especially children with special needs, I would strongly reconsider staying here. I have three autistic children, and at 12:30 in the afternoon, we received a noise complaint because one of my children was crying. I completely understand expecting guests to keep noise down during nighttime or quiet hours, but expecting a family with children to maintain that level of silence in the middle of the day is unreasonable.
What bothered me most was not simply the noise complaint—it was the way the staff handled it. Throughout our stay, I witnessed interactions with not only our family but other guests that I felt were handled with a shocking lack of professionalism and basic courtesy.
Hotels are in the hospitality business. Guests should be treated respectfully, even when an issue needs to be addressed. Unfortunately, that was not our experience here, and the way we were treated completely ruined what otherwise could have been an enjoyable stay

We were warmly greeted by Heather when we arrived. She had a guest taking his time and she acknowledged she would be with us momentarily.
Heather gave us a choice of King or Queens. Who her will stay the coolest!
This Holiday Inn Express is the fifth and by far the cleanest. The first place we check out is the bathroom to ensure cleanliness and fresh air. The tub, sink and toilet were spotless and fresh.
We have been driving for 6 out of the last 8 days covering nearly 3000 miles so we chose to turn in early.
We turned on the TV and alas, no connection. I called the from desk and within a couple minutes Justin J. came to our rescue. He made whatever adjustments were necessary. .
This morning we went to the breakfast area. Everything we tried was wonderful. Cinnamon rolls were soft and flaky. Biscuits and Gravy were made with real and tasty sausage. Egg omelettes and Turkey sausage were cooked perfectly. They eggs were not stiff and dried out, not did they melt into the omelettes in front or in back of them. The sausage was moist and well seasoned.
Juices, coffee and milk were available in abundance. This breakfast was the best we have had at any HIE. We finished breakfast, returned to our room packed and as we were loading Justin J. noticed my back was having issues. He promptly asked if he could help and he did!!!.
Overall this was the best experience we have had at any Holiday Inn Express. Thank you for being a quality respite on the road!

The staff at this location are outstanding. They go above and beyond to make sure that you're comfortable and well taken care of at their hotel. I can't say anything but positive comments about this location and dedicated people that work here.

We love this hotel. It's always very clean. Rooms are nice. Beds are really comfortable and the bedding is always clean and smells nice. Breakfast is good. The front desk gal Heather is very professional and kind. She's was really helpful making sure I got a room with a tub. We've stayed here many times with family because it's halfway between home and our reunions. Holiday Inn is other towns I've stayed at are just as good, but the kind service makes it so much better!
