- ACAaron Clark4 days ago5.0This is a fun historical site to visit and the admission is free. The staff/ missionaries that are here made it very enjoyable. They know a lot about the fort and give you fun facts. It's a great stop if you have kids and hour or less to kill.

They have a 14 minute Informational history video, which I heard great things about, but my children did not have the attention span for that so we went straight to the tour. They have a scavenger hunt that was actually really fun and I learned things I didn't know about that time period because of it. You also get a pioneer style toy at the end of the scavenger hunt for participating. The tour guides, senior missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, were super kind and knowledgeable. They told fun stories and they grow a garden, mostly to share with visitors. They told me, in the fall, they give out free pumpkins and we got a homegrown carrot. It is very close to the easy exits and entrances both ways to the freeway and is not far off it at all. It also has wonderfully clean bathrooms. It doesn't have a place to get food, so make sure you have a lunch/dinner planned or packed. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend it to others.
