  We just held my daughter's wedding at Alta this past weekend, and it could not have been better. The setting is beautiful, the food was first rate, and the staff was incredibly courteous and helpful. Every guest said they had a wonderful time, many of whom traveled from Maryland. My daughter is extremely happy with how well her special day turned out, thanks to the folks at Alta Lodge.

  The Alta Lodge has been a fantastic meeting place and provides shelter, great food, staff, and a base camp for skiing Alta and Snowbird. Incredible view, best bar in Alta. Strong recomend.

  Best wedding venue! We got married here in August 2026. Everything was amazing, would highly recommend! We did the “wedding weekend” so rented out the lodge only for our wedding guests. Misti was wonderful to work with throughout the wedding planning process - kind, experienced, thoughtful, and accommodating. Service by the Alta staff was also excellent.. so many guests complimented the level of service at the lodge. Food throughout the weekend was delicious, no misses. Weather was great, it was a beautiful night. Last, excellent price for everything you get. Great value. I am so appreciative — would highly recommend for your wedding

  Incredibly rude and unhelpful staff. The "gentleman" at the front desk can't seem to handle helping people or taking criticism and feedback. When i called to speak to the manager, they just routed it to this employee (i hope to god he's not he's actually any kind of manager there or they have way bigger problems) who was immediately argumentative and just claimed i didn't know what i was talking about before hanging up. This guy shouldn't be working anywhere facing the public. Even a Motel 6 can give basic customer service, book here if you want to be berated and treated like garbage.

  Our son and our new daughter in law chose the Alta Lodge for their rehearsal dinner, lodging, wedding ceremony and reception--it was magical. The staff is exceptional; we had the best service from start to finish from every staff member. Every request was accommodated immediately. The venue was setup beautifully and efficiently for every part of the weekend. The guests had a fabulous experience and complemented everything. The daily breakfasts, two dinners, and Sunday brunch were all delicious. Thank you Alta Lodge for the extra special service and the memories created.
