  We did a 2 night stay to visit the Magnolia Market and other attractions. The hotel is cleaned well overall but there is a foul musty smell consistently in the hallways. Almost smells like burnt carpet mixed with old cigarette smell or sewage. I don’t know but it’s pretty bad. Sometimes it smacks you in the face when you walk into the hotel and other times it’s not as noticeable walking in the main entrance but definitely present in the hallways. You don’t smell it as bad in the actual rooms so there’s that. The beds were comfy, liked the kitchenette and spacious fridge. We were able to use a small crib for our toddler which was great since we forgot the travel bed. Room is spacious. Breakfast was okay. The potatoes were cold, not a lot of topping options for the yogurts. They didn’t refill the food unless asked. 15 mins before end of breakfast they bring nothing else out so kind of a bummer. We opted to eat out the next morning for breakfast. Coffee was not good. Coffee shops are plentiful so have that option. Won’t be staying again.

  Overall the property was great. The suite was spacious, had a full size fridge, sink, microwave, and range top. The bathroom wasn't well thought out. The door to the shower and toilet is large, but it's so big that it is a tight squeeze in to the space. That is a minor inconvenience though. Room was clean, breakfast has decent options, the pool was nice, and there's even a basketball court, but if bring my own ball if you plan on using it. The pool side towels are tiny too. But when the bar is open, hard to beat $2 bottles and $8 mixed drinks.

  This hotel is the best in Waco the front desk especially Jodi and Kelly are amazing and always make my day great snd make this feel like home away from home.Even the housekeeping team is wonderful.Angela Latisha and Roxanne always take the time to make sure our room is always clean and stocked. If you need a place and want to feel like your home with family this is the place to stay. Affordable clean close to all things fun excellent breakfast and again top notch staff
