  We reserved 2 rooms. One room was full of spiders/webs on the walls, was not very clean, and the tv did not work at all. There was also only 1 set of towels in the bathroom for 4 people. The other room was not cleaned either, although I was thankful for no spiders. We found a dry crusty wash cloth hanging on the shower curtain rod, which indicates a very rushed, half effort cleaning. We only had 1 set of towels for 2 people. We also had a problem with the smoke detector going off every 5 mins. I tried calling the desk, but the poor girl was swamped, and working alone in the middle of the day. She came up to try and fix it, but could only take it off the wall SMS take the batteries out. When she removed it from the wall a bug crawled out of it. She did her best to make the most of an embarrassing situation, and she was very nice. The front desk staff seems to be in way better condition than your facility, and it would be great if you could help them out with better working conditions.

  This hotel is not being maintained well at all. Room was not very clean at check in, with hair around and stains in bathroom. Reported issue with hot water and was told that room had the hot and cold water switched. They advertise light housekeeping daily but they didn’t come once in my 4 night stay. Would not recommend at all.

  Great experience first time staying at the hotel for work, check in went smooth. The hotel offers delicious homemade food in the evenings, a social hour Mon-Weds from 530pm-7pm, usually a meal for dinner with a side, worry free dinner for persons working away from home exhausted from the Texas Heat. Francisca is the person who makes these meals from scratch and is a very helpful and attentive to the food bar. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will be booking again for future accommodations.

  I’ve been staying at this hotel for a little over three weeks, and the highlight of my stay has been the Monday–Wednesday social event all thanks to Francesca. Francesca is truly one of a kind. She comes in after working a full‑time job during the day, just to serve the residents and guests here at the hotel. She is humble, kind, and carries a servant’s heart and a servant’s attitude in everything she does. If I could give her a ten‑star review, I would do it without hesitation. She makes you feel welcomed, cared for, and appreciated and that kind of dedication is rare. As for the hotel itself, yes, it has had its hiccups but I also know it’s under new management, and I’ve personally seen those issues being addressed quickly and seriously. It takes money, time, and commitment to fix things the right way, and I give full credit to the new owner for stepping up to the challenge and doing everything he can to make improvements. Between the effort from management and the heart Francesca pours into every social event, this place deserves its five stars. If you’re staying in Wichita Falls, this hotel and especially Francesca’s hospitality — will make you feel right at home.

  Oh boy. Where to begin? Save your money and go ANYWHERE else. The rooms were dirty, stuff was stuck in the carpet, the couch was covered in crusty stains (I can only imagine from what), the faucets were loose, the tub was rusty, the baseboards were FILTHY, the bathroom vent was taped to the ceiling, and we had open holes in the ceiling where they had not replaced either fire sprinklers or smoke detectors. After we got in the room my 15 month old brought me a used nicotine pouch he found by the bed as well as other trash/bottle caps from around the room. The pool was DISGUSTING. The grills were covered in feathers. They hadn't been cleaned in possibly forever. There were cigarette butts, empty packs, beer cans, and bottle caps ALL OVER. The cushions were strewn all around and the pool itself was a lovely cloudy blue green with feathers and algae/mold floating around. The breakfast was okay but half the stuff was either not working (drink dispensers, warmers, etc) or simply not stocked. The lobby was wildly hot and smelled like the devils lettuce. Housekeeping never came and brought fresh towels or picked up our trash. For $150 a night, you could do much better elsewhere. On the plus side, the beds were comfy. I'm usually not a complainer but for the sake of saving somebody else some money and a poor experience, I'm laying it all out there. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. Unless you like possibly contracting diseases from carpet, then this is the place for you!
