  one word is all i have to say... ROACHES EVERYWHERE IN ROOM ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING

  Staybridge is one of our favorites in another city we travel to so it seemed reasonable to book at this one in Wichita Falls. From the moment we walked in the hotel room we were disgusted by the smell, the dirt and dust all over the couch, and the dirty silverware in the drawers. We were offered a different room but declined based on what the first room was like and booked at a different hotel.

  Internet here is not great. IHG's Wi-Fi Auto Connect doesn't seem to work at all. Signal is constantly dropping to one bar on the wifi that does work. There's an ethernet jack at the desk, but it is disconnected so I can't use it with my travel router. I can't even watch live channels because the tv says it isn't connected to the network.

  The place is being remodeled due to damage from the freeze in January which is understandable. However, my shower had hair all on the walls which is a preventable problem

  We checked in around midnight and the front desk was super quick to get us and our kiddos to our room! She also got us fresh sheets for the pull out bed (they weren’t in the room). The room was mostly clean but there was still grime around the edges, a couple of the lights were out, and the big blanket for the pull out bed was covered in stains. There was a lot of trash in the pull out bed too. We were exhausted so we didn’t want to go down again to the desk for more blankets. No biggie we were just sleeping a couple hours then getting back on the road so they made do with sharing the blankets on the other beds. In the morning, around 6 am, someone was trying to open our door so we went to look and nobody was there. About every 20 minutes or so this happened and then knocking started all the way until 7am, so we kept getting up but nobody was at our door. It shook the kids up a little bit. Shortly after, we went down for breakfast with our kids and it was a great variety of a spread, although there were a lot of things out that we had to track down like syrup for waffles and there was no spatula for the waffle maker to pull them out so I helped the kids out so they wouldn’t burn themselves. My ten year old went to go make waffles for his brother and the attendant came up behind him angry saying “I hate this I hate this” and was wiping the counters around him and mumbling something at him (mind you he did not spill anything?). She watched us throughout the area while we made plates and it felt uncomfortable like she was waiting to reprimand us if we made a mess. We did not. I would’ve spoken to customer service about it but they don’t show our booking in their system now
